he was greedy because he wanted the money for him and his family. He wasn't working that hard for nothing. And the fact that he chose the 1st floor because it was better suited for his bummed leg and he ended up getting the shittiest arrangement was sad. He kept getting f'ed over left and right so I feel for him
I agree with you. But i can sort of see the argument of fake angst in love for love sake. I felt like in that show they wanted conflict around why he was pulling away but it just confused me. Buttttt I still believe love for love sake is one of the better korean bl. The chemistry was off the charts and the plot was good.
the second couple is not worth watching it for, but I liked the show it was a pretty basic show though so I understand…
I kept watching cause I found the characters cute but I did not like the plot. Like the fact that he confessed but the issue was he didn't want to be with him and then the stupid stuff about ideal type. It felt like they was just yapping
O M G I really just don't understand how this drama flew under my radar. I love Taiwanese bls and this one just takes the cake. Every single couple had fantastic chemistry especially the main couple. The actors just flow so well with each other. I do understand why some people are disappointed that the second couple wasn't necessarily resolved and I am a bit disappointed too but I was so fed with the main couple I didn't care as much. Maybe unlikely but I hope there's a season 2 or spinoff. And lastly I just lovvvveeee all of the characters dynamics (platonic ones). I love how the sister is this bossy senior that gets her way lol, I love Alex and Bai Liang's frienship (They were always on pace with each other like best friends are), and I love the other workers at the clinic relationship with Xun An. This show was just so good and I will continue to hype it up and rewatch it.
Okay I looked it up and it is not blackface, there is a dark skin actress who is French but for some reason kisskh didn’t name her when she is the main actress. Her name is Nina Mélo and she is a French actress.
This movie seems pretty cool as it is very diverse in terms of production. The director is Mauritanian, the actress is French, they speak in Chinese in the movies and have Chinese actors as well so it’s very global. as soon as I find where to watch Illvhive a rating
it does but it also seems like blackface because I don’t see any dark skin actresses listed in the cast😐 If there is and maybe they didn’t list her, weird in MyDramalist behalf but is okay and I’ll watch but if it’s blackface…..
haven’t finished but I literally love the acting in this drama, especially that scene between Alex and Bai Liang when he tells him to take in the kid. And the way they’ll switch between English and Taiwanese is not cringy at all and is very natural (unlike some of these kdrama lmaooo). Also I wonder if there is gonna be a third couple because they introduced the hockey guy and the second dentist, I hope they make a comeback
is everybody just missing the r@pe plot or im i the only sane person here..... what the
that’s what Im saying! I saw this movie when I was scrolling and came to read the summary and was horrified. It’s the way that in the summary it tells you over and over “RAPE” like I’m in shocked people even watched it. This one is for the horny ppl I guess cause it doesn’t seem to be a good story or movie from the reviews but the execution is what they find an issue rather than the RAPE?!? For me that’s what I can’t get over
Okay I understand but 1st floor was built up to be the character you care about the most especially seeing how besides floor 3, his background was revealed the most. And they gave him all the pity points he could get with being so poor and having a family and a dying daughter. I think for others who the plot ig "worked" on would find it sad and impactful.
after talking with my sister, I took this show from a 9 to an 8. I don’t like how they REFUSED to make the CEO a bad guy. He was a bad person and at every time he wanted to f Rangoon over but they tried to make him so nonchalant like that will diminish the torment he did to Ranjoo(and eun morae too), they gave the manager who wanted to be an idol too much depth that made him seem way worse, and I HATE DESPISE that Moka ends up signing with RJ Entertainment smh. And they made Ranjoo seem so weak and centered around a man, especially since she never really got her revenge and stayed with the entertainment
I’m sorry but the people who keep comparing it to Alice in Borderland and Squid Games pls stop. It’s not the same just because it deals with that dark psychological thriller concept.
Alice in Borderand is my all time fave but it’s very different from this show because 1. it’s realistic fiction where Alice in Borderland is not 2. this show is more of a comedy where the others were dramatized and 3. vastly smaller scale than both Alice in Borderand and Squid Game (in both characters and settings)
I love the concept and how even though they didn’t kill anyone it was still brutal. Also the ending gave me chills cause what if it actually happened in real life🫣
