So how's the gay angle ?
it's hella gay. I'm not sure why the summary includes her but this is his story about his love life along with other things. Ver gay

Watching this again made me appreciate it even more. For me the second bf " Youngso " was the best part of the…
I was actually okay with how they changed the vibe however, their actua relationship was so disappointing with Gyu-ho cheating on him and how they stop caring and talking to each other that I'm like no way is this his best relationship. Their relationship was not ideal at all and it made me sad cause it seemed they both were lonely. And until he was revealed to be a weird psycho, I did like his and Youngso's relationship a lot

Didn't continue castaway diva your comment kinda makes me want to continue it I don't even know why I didn't finish…
struggled watching it at first too and took a big pause. I guess the story was a bit different then i thought it would be and was also sad that the first episode wasn't the actual story and that it's over with, if that makes sense. But i ended up finishing it and it was a really good show. Tbh, I dont think its better than this show though

Title Love in the Big City Spoiler
Does anyone have a clearer timeline for when everything happens I’m kinda finding it difficult to piece all…
it starts with him in college and modeling, mi ae sees him and he begs her to keep the secret, then they become close as he gets closer to Nam Gyu (the photographer), he breaks up with him and then we can fast forward to their graduating college, Mi Ae’s marriage, and him publishing his first book. Somwhere in that time between him breaking up with Nam Gyu and him graduating college is when he gets HIV

So after his book and Mi Ae’s marriage he gets involved with that bitch ass Yeongsu while dealing with his mom’s cancer. After his heartbreak from Yeongsu he overdoses, a bit of time goes by and then his mother dies. As he’s mourning his mother he meets Gyu Ho and then begins their relationship. However, after a year their relationship goes flat and then is where they decide to take a trip to Bangkok. I believe another year goes by with Gyu Ho that is very tumultuous and then Gyu Ho goes to Shanghai and they are forced to break up. Then he’s depressed and a lot of time goes by and he writes his book that wins him a Dublin Literary award where his dad gifts him a mattress that causes cancer. After multiple hookups, he meets Habibi and follows him to Bangkok. There he is sad and lonely but finds excitement with Habibi until he realizes that there’s nothing there. He goes home and finds solace again with his friends and even after his messed up love life he still hopes for love

I’m not sure who wrote this summary but this is not a tale of two roommates. This is Go Young’s story and his tumultuous love life. In this show we get to see the relationships that are built like his friendships with Mi Ae (and destroyed) while he deals with all the curveballs and jokes life has.

I 100% recommend this show as it had the perfect angst and vibes as well as livable characters. If you are not comfortable with the overwhelming feeling of loneliness and melancholy then this show is not for you

You feel bad for the mom?? This js the first I am hearing of someone sympathize with mom. Would love to hear your…
I dropped the show as I don't like any of the characters so I really dont care why ppl don't like her. I just felt a bit bad for her since her marriage was set up from the start to fail from people who thought they knew better than they actually did. But overall idc about any of the characters as I dont like them

This whole series… but the breakup…no words. (Actually, I have many words 😉) It was written, directed,…
the show was really good and well done it just ruined the couple a bit, like their love isn’t 100% and you can’t really feel the “end game” with them because of the infidelity.

Soooo I finally made my way thru this and dislike everyone equally 😂. Oh-aew was just as problematic as Teh,…
how you gonna say oh was problematic and then say things like “he should have got his lick back”

If you wanna good love story, end with the first season. If you want to know their entire story watch this. However, their relationship will always be tainted now😭😣

I'm confused as to why Taiwan has to have these taboo plots but it's honestly draining. And I feel like the only dramas that pass censorship are ones like this because China wants people to think gay ppl are perverted and paint them in a weird light. Same reason they f'ed up Addicted's ending
On I Told Sunset about You Oct 5, 2024
this is the best. I took so long to watch it cause it’s slightly older and I’m trynna keep up with the newer shows, but I watched once I saw it only had 5 episodes. this show is the best I should have watched it sooner. billkin’s acting is soooo good and I love the characters

I read a comment he was into Poppy in the novel.
yeah same, but that should have been presented earlier to give time for Tiger-Only, not on the second to last episode.
