Obviously Yotha had a character development. That was the whole point.
I mean by making it seem like its just the most romantic and heart fluttering thing for a guy to rock you to bed, take care of you, kiss you, and flirt with you and then say he doesn't like you is kinda promoting it. Like that's what we should strive for. Situationships
I saw for a while now that this was one of the highest rated movies on this app and finally watched it as itās available on YouTube for free. I get the hype and I agree with it wholeheartedly. This movie is nothing short of beautiful and spectacular. I genuinely love everything about it (obviously not the violence and bullying but the cinematography)
If you like Anti Reset, you might want to continue with this drama. I'm loving it so far because I can see my…
I did continue watching and I do like them better than the couple in Anti Reset (I prefer this show over Anti Reset too) but I can't ignore how bad they did the AI concept
Obviously Yotha had a character development. That was the whole point.
What I said wasn't really where his character developed though. I feel like the show is trying to show that there's nothing wrong with his actions before he realizes his feelings for Gun. Their message is more so that its okay to love and to let love in but it doesn't really show the harm in his mixed signals and advantage of gun
Giving my thoughts and opinions if you care to read it Overall I give this show a 8.7/10, but on here I'll give it an 8.5
Things I didn't like: 1. Other things are less important and really take off like 0.1 points but this takes the cake and is my biggest critique. I don't know why they thought the resolution with the mom was good enough because it really just wasn't. That wretch does not deserve to get her way, she honestly belongs in jail or in H- E- L -L. Zone should have never "sacrificed" himself and neither should the father. I even started to feel bad for Prae cause I feel like you can tell she really liked Cir when the mom was going and talking crazy, She wasn't just in it for money or status. Its almost offensive how the show dealt with this clear abuse and slavery. Like I'm still mad that they did that. 2. The point above plays into this but I didn't like how everyone made their lives centered around Phu and Cir. For example, it makes no sense for Wim to be that obsessed and involved in Cir's life nor for Jin to pick his entire friend group because of the love and care they have for Phu. Like that don't even make sense. I do like how characters like Rome and Aichi's world didn't revolve around the main characters.
3. Wim's character wasn't done right. I don't know why they tried to make it seem like he was so annoying and invested in Cir's life because he felt responsible for knowing everything since everyone asked him everything. I think they should have either went with him liking Cir (which I think could have been played really well where Jin kinda hates Cir because he knows Wim likes him and he likes Wim and then getting Wim to choose him instead of being hung up on Cir) or they should have tied it back to the trauma that they experienced and how Wim feels like he needs to protect Cir b/c he has no one to do so. But Wim was very whiny and always complaining about something and also I don't get his quells with Jin and why he was so put off by him but whatever.
4. The pacing was a bit fast at the beginning ngl. Like some of the things Cir did or said to Phu eve though he said he didn't want to make Phu uncomfortable was just a bit much. Also there was a lot of sappy overly cheesy moments and dialogue. I like that stuff every now and then but sometimes it was a bit much. Especially when they kept singing that song. Now I'm a person who loves Love in the Air and the scene where Payu sings to Rain in the kitchen is one of my favorite bl scenes of all time but I feel like they tried to recreate that bit but failed. It just came off as unnecessary and turned me off lol.
5. I don't get why Aichi never apologized cause he definitely needed to and I think that would have shown more of how he values his friendship. Speaking of which I understand sometimes why Tee was mean to Aichi but other times she just talked about him so bad I was confused as to why or if they're even friends. Like she would treat Aichi as if he is scum.
6. Probably my third biggest complaint after the mom and Wim but I'm not sure why they didn't speak the parralel world thing outloud. There were so many perfect times for Cir to explain what he was going through and he just never did. And it very much did matter to explain to Phu. Also Ji's character knew that he wasn't lying but just confused and never explained it to Cir, to Phu, or even to Wim which disappointed me.
Im sorry for all the negative but I did overall really like this show, here's some positives
1. To be very shallow and honest, the cast was so attractive *sigh*. Especially Rome and Jin, they had no business being that fine!
2. Boss and Nouel have really been studying the art of acting. Especially Boss! I felt tis show was the perfect way for him to show his versatility and he's improved so much. There were some overly sappy scenes but I think that was the writer's and director's fault. He was brillaint in this.
3. I think the explanation of how the parralel world isn't really them transcending time and space but more so getting glimpses of each othr's lives and the value of Phu. I think this was done so well and made me proud, but like before they should have actually spoken it out. Cause we and supposedly Jin know the truth but no one else does and that pmo.
4. Sooooo many cute moments! I dont even know which are my favorites. And the NC scenes were done really well. I loved how the first few were making out or blowjobs, much more realistic as most relationships will build up to sex and not just have sex right away lol.
Anyways, that's my review. I really liked the show even better than Love in the Air. Im excited for the special ep though cause I'm invested in the other world's love story now
was gonna watch this and give it a chance but I really donāt understand why Taiwan canāt stop producing these taboo plots smh.
I decided in episode 3 I didnāt want to continue the show and skipped through/sped up all of the other episodes only for the second couple.
I really liked the brother, he was just a nice fruit loop lol.
But LuHuiās character pmo because we get heās a high school student but they kept making him childish and it just made everything weird. I donāt understand why he had to act like a 12 year old boy and his character even said something about going through puberty. Like if just made everything weirder so I stopped.
is it just me? but I am getting tired of the overly polite relationships. It just feels distant and so when they say these big confessions of love it seems so fake because I feel like they donāt know each other because theyāre stuck behind this wall of curtesy. I much rather prefer bls where they let themselves be known by the other cause to be known is to be loved. For example, Vice Versa or Last Twilight
I did not know this was one of those AI series and was connected to Anti Reset. but honestly Anti Reset did the whole AI thing far better. Iām literally on the 1st episode and theyāre not doing anything to give off the AI concept. in fact theyāre doing everything to make this man seem like a human and then trying to explain it but in reality it really doesnāt explain it. The leads have great chemistry but is made awkward due to the fact that he is an AI. Like really why would a robot keep talking back and adding his inputs, and why would he be tying him up and stopping him from doing certain things. it makes no sense. hopefully the ai plot isnāt focused on too much cause Iām just gonna ignore it. Definitely alr takes my rating down though
This show totally ruined Yothaās characters, it's so different from the books.
I've not read the book so I didn't know that. But it would definitely have been better. They really did ruin his character and now he's just a manipulative fboy and its annoying to watch
I've decided to drop this show because I can't get over Yotha's character and how he ruined their ship for me. Maybe if I got over the episodes I'm on it would be better but it literally took me like 2 weeks to watch ep 14 and I do not want to keep watching ep 15. Yotha has just become like all the other guys out there, using and leading on Gun with no intentions on dating him. He fr should have never started anything with him if he didn't even think he could love and never thought of actually being with him. I'm sorry but he's just giving f'boy and that is such a turn off. I can't even try and root for them.
I also do not care about Wine and Faifa. Because of how creepy they made Faifa seemed in the beginning of the show (the actual present in the story) I was turned all the way off from them. Though seeing how they know each other now, I did feel better but I still don't want to watch them because frankly they're not interesting. Especially Wine. So this is the end of this show for me.
I remember when he first walked out on Singles Inferno and I was like āI know him, he be kissing them boys!ā lmaooooo but no I remember him immediately from Live Class cause thatās one of my favorite Korean bls but I wonder why him and other cast members didnāt mention their acting
Umm, I disagree, this series was so good. Maybe you missed the whole point of the show? It is mean to be angsty…
no they were trying to HARD to be angsty and emotional to the point it felt forced and like they were purposefully complicating and twisting things. I never expected nor wnated it to be a "sunshine and rainbows" kind of show but it's also annoying when you can see the plot from a mile away and they're playing up the dramatics as if we and the characters didn't already guess what happened.
I saw for a while now that this was one of the highest rated movies on this app and finally watched it as itās available on YouTube for free. I get the hype and I agree with it wholeheartedly.
