This show is a 8/10 for me. It really is a great show but is a very mediocre bl. The development just wasn't there and relied too heavily on some of the worst romance tropes (past life lovers and coincidental interactions when younger). I have to say I preferred the second couple but even their development was weak and other than the fact they were lovers in their last life and couldn't marry, I don't really see them as endgame or rather they need more time and development. And Peem and Khem adopting was unnecessary and once again just didn't seem believable. I mean the actor for Peem could sell it but the actor for Khem could not.
But I will say I wished the show name wasn't named after Khem because he was about the least interesting character in the show. It should have been their ship name or named something else. The show is only as good as their side characters, it could not hold with just those two characters or Khem by himself. But overall, they needed to put more into the characters and why they're the way they are. They didn't have much backstory when it came to personality and identities. The only person who was explained was Peem. I would have loved to see why Charn was so interested in them in the beginning, why he's so ready to die for people he just met, why Jet is a bit mischievous and rebellious and what are his motives and his hesitancy for starting a relationship with Charn. Also why is Khem so sweet and gentle when he's led the life that could have easily turned him into an antisocial loner who is angsty. Like their characters just don't have enough reasonings behind them.
Honestly the You Are Mine couple saved this. It wasn't needed and pmo because of how bad the kiss scenes were. I'm not sure what happened between the leads but they were not kissing each other the same way and the chemistry was subpar.
The angst was great and I understand why it was there, however, the actual sadness felt force and the so did the ending. It failed to actually deliver a compelling love story and characters to actually root for. And Yohan being the protagonist was not executed correctly
I avoided watching this show for the longest because of the tacky poster. I thought it would be a really low budget Korean bl with 15 min episodes. But this was actually really good in quality. The acting was terrific and the actors were all so very handsome. Their size difference is to die for and gives all the butterflies. However, I think it could have given me more butterflies if the kissing scenes were actually good. They lacked passion for me and weren't convincing. Also, Siyeol looks like a mixture of Haechan from NCT and Jang Dong-yoon.

No I said what I said, they were bad characters because they weren't just flawed, they were unpredictable and their actions didnt make sense. Probably due to the fact that we didn't know the characters. The only one with a resemblance of a back story was Off's character. This is an issue in poor writing.
And I totally agree with you, not every show needs a second lead, however, there was something there with Mawin and Pheem though I can't remember what scene exactly made me feel that way.
I sped through the last three episodes and 1. Dew’s acting is phenomenal especially during the scene where he’s getting dumped 2. I kinda wish they had made a Pheem and Marein couple but they took too long with Pheem and Jira 3. Jira is also a really bad character 4. The NC scenes were very weak especially for a show as sexy as this and for OffGun 5. I hated this show and it was a bunch of b.s. for 10 eps straight
I like this show but really in a guilty pleasure kind of way because the fact that they are cousins really is distasteful. And them trying to throw in him being adopted was pointless because Jeonghan didn’t know that and it really didn’t matter because they grew up as cousins and he’s still adopted into the family so everyone would still have an issue with it. At the beginning I thought he was just the uncle’s caretaker so that’s why I kept watching smh. And even the way Jeongin talks about Iljo is very inappropriate.
Also, Jeonghan is not a good partner, he is obsessive and toxic. I’m not sure if he really does love Iljo or is just obsessed with him, either way it’s not healthy. And Iljo isn’t normal too. He’s slow and submissive in a way that needs counseling lol.
Lastly it doesn’t make sense to me that Jeonghan was able to convince his father especially seeing as if he cares so much about keeping the business in the family, he would care about the future in terms of Jeonghan having kids. Not to say they can’t if the really do plan on getting married abroad cause they can just adopt but still I don’t really find it realistic that his father will let him do what he wants.
on episode 7, and even though I love my OffGun, I do not ship them more than DewGun in this series. And Off’s character Koh is so manipulative, arrogant, and mean. I actually really like the drama but I don’t see how they’re gonna end up together and not do I want them to
I really like this couple and the characters were good. I LOVE Cha Muhee, I know a lot of people prefer Do Rami because shes spunky but so is Cha Mu Hee and I feel like I relate to her as a character. Goyounjun is also just so cute and I adore her laugh. My only critiques is that the second couple was unnecessary. I don't think jisun or yongu was interesting enough characters to get a love story and be a second couple and Jisun JUST broke up with a guy she was going to marry and be with for the rest of her life and they want me to believe that her and Yongu are endgame and will get married after less than a year of even knowing each other?! No, he’s the rebound. I'm not gonna lie they had some cute moments, but it was just unnecessary for me, I’d rather Nanami be the character with a love story. I also just don’t like Jisun. I don't understand how you like someone and then get with their brother?!?
Lastly, I disliked the last episode. I get that the mental health issues needed to be address but there was no reason for Do Rami to be her mother. That was stupid, they didn't need an explanation for her she could have just been a product of her poor mental health. And saying that her parents were a live was just ridiculous and also entirely unnecessary. It was so pointless to even include and just gave a stupid reason for them to be apart. Which only lasted about 3 minutes. They should have just scrapped that entire episode because it was straight up b.s.
They hid that part of the plot. It’s not mdl. It’s how they advertise the show.
theres one thing to hide it and another to create a whole different story. Like her testing him on loyalty and how far hes willing to translate was just never a point in the show at all.
the description here is so messed up. It mentions nothing of the mental issues that Cha Mu Hee faces and acts as if she’s this unfiltered actress who needs sugarcoating, when that’s not at all the case. So far I’m on ep 8 and there’s been nothing of her testing him on how loyal he is and how he’ll translate her brutal words
Wow they need to update this photo lol, but he is honestly so dreamy and handsome. He’s such an aura king, and Idk if it’s just me, but he reminds me of Na Jaemin from NCT Dream. His personality in the movie was kind of like him as well.

I can infer a lot but I’m not sure if I really understand the conflict and it just leads to frustration.
I also think they could have done the movie better where we sevthe 10Dance competition and not a special dance where they do all 10 dances because if they do a second movie, the competition wont have much excitement to it.
Last but not least, a lot of the choreography was repeated and I think the production should have done a better job with making sure they had unique dance pieces
