Why do they talk about her being a tomboy and not just lesbian? 🤔 In previous episodes too. Am I missing something?…
yeah this is weird to me too. because if they say tomboy meaning lesbian why does she tell Gugg that she isn’t and then proceeds to be a lesbian. And she is very feminine so they can’t mean tomboy in the usual sense? But then in the movie they show the character who is modeled after her as a tomboy in the regular sense. so I’m confused about what they mean when they say tomboy as well. They’re lacking in consistency thete
I don’t think this show is as bad as ppl are making it out to be. my only thing is that the enemies to lover trope is really weak and it really just comes off as pointless bickering and feels kinda forced. This is due to the writing of the show, not the actors. And in terms of some people’s critiques (idk if this is the consensus and why ppl don’t like the show this is just what I’ve seen and agreed with) 1. the random heart to heart moments are not done properly and need to be set up better and 2. Sant is a glaaaed character but they never try and call him out on it. for example he does Jway actually DIRTY and they just act like he’s never done anything bad even though that was really messed up
I like the show so far but they pmo by making Jay (or Jway?) have had a sweets yt channel. Totally unecessary plot line. I would get if he liked sweets actually and it was added in for Sant to tease him about, but it’s kinda a b.s. plot line
1. the bl tease was hardly there, I think this is one of those cases where the concept of them sounds intriguing or entertaining but in all actuality there’s hardly anything thereand then
2. the scene from him at the dentist office after his fight against the boys and the rest of the show pmo. It was like they went 0-100 real quick and not in a good way. It’s like they were missing a scene to explain why Jungwoo feels absolutely terrified and definite that Moonjo is a devil. He goes from being suspicious and weary/scared to scared out of his mind and there was no scene to explain why. And also he could have saved Seokyoon and Jieun was such a bad gf lol
Ik this is late but i can see what you mean. However, i think we might have to consider the culture? I'm obviously…
yes it is. They have relationships that start off inherently sexual, even if it is a high school love story (not always though), yet the relationship itself is always distant or overly polite.

I've been watching jbl's for a minute and so I do know its partly due to the culture. However, I'm also aware how expressive tehy are when it comes to talking about sex, as if sex is a more acceptable topic than romance and so I find this to be problematic. I don't think its a matter of runtime though.
