The childhood connection in this drama kinda makes sense according to some spoilers I've read.

The daughter is a student and civilian though, they can't put her in danger like that. The less she's affiliated with the op, the better.

MDL rating doesn't hold any sway, actual Nielsen ratings in South Korea are the most important.

I agree about the driver being left behind being a glaring oversight, it took me out of the scene there even though I went into this show accepting it as a full-on campy action comedy. Maybe they should have had the driver jump out of his seat before the collision and then have the car blast. This director does the funny actions scenes really well, just check out Knight Flower, though some the choreography and action sequences can get cartoonish at times and you have to suspend disbelief.

The way I screamed when the team leader appearead as a monk in the sky lmao! That was a banger of a first episode.

Same, I didn't even notice how 70 minutes just flew by. The comedy is top notch without a hint of cringe.

This is so good! The director is the same with Knight Flower which had great action scenes with comedic undertones. We're in good hands.

I'm at episode 26 and am about to quit, the drama's become a chore to watch for me. I enjoy slow paced dramas with court politics as the main plotline, so in theory this would be my jam, but I'm really struggling with the writing here. The acting and the cinematography are stellar, no complaints there. If only the scheming made more sense...

Kim Shin Rok's playing the antagonist I'm assuming? She was absolutely shining in that guest role in Love Scout, I was transfixed by her acting. I'm excited to see how she's going to tackle her character in this drama.

Not that I need to see gratuitous sex scenes or anything but Kdramas usually promise more than they can deliver when it comes to adult themes. Recent drama "A Virtuous Business" was ridiculously tame considering its plot for instance.

Okay, my jaw dropped seeing the trailer but I bet those steamy scenes are actually a couple seconds long and they're just baiting us to check out the drama lol

Yeah that part gave me a pause. I really hope it's a mistranslation or has a non creepy explanation because that's just gross.

I have to rant about the hideous wedding dress though. What even was that? Who picked that unfortunate garment? Why? I'm all questions. They did Yu-mi so dirty. Even her hairdo was a disaster, made her look like an egg in a veil.

I think the younger couple were only sweet because of the limited time they had; young Jiwon was as childish and fussy as her older counterpart and if she was given more airtime, her antics would turn annoying pretty fast. They were great in the small doses we got of them.

The second part is already filmed, they just had to separate the drama into two due to regulations.

Thanks for sharing, this plotline sounds really angsty. I can't say I like it though, faking one's death and hiding it from a loved one is kind of a jerk move. I hope JCY has a good excuse lol Btw this shows how in tune with her character Yang Zi is, she's so good in her emotional scenes.

Seriously, I loved that they collided like planets crashing into each other. The push and pull in episode 7 was crazy good. You know they're craving to be with each other but stopping themselves, and when they finally give in it's mindblowing.
