I think they should have cast like a teenager instead of using the same actor simply to remind the viewers he was not an adult with a little kid. I think they have a 10 year age gap. I didn't see it has them doing anything remotely sexual or romantic. It felt more like an awakening for Yongjie that he liked when Xingsi took care of him etc.

I mean they aren't related. They were brought together by marriage. I can get why that isn't a trope for everyone. Yeah the younger brother has some type of attachment disorder (maybe not that.. but something) or issues with affection and emotions. It's almost like they are use to his behavior and they probably don't know the full extent of his other behaviors. I wonder if they don't FULLY grasp how serious it is.

I agree. I can understand why that trope isn't for everyone.. but if they aren't blood related it doesn't bother me. The stalking is more of the issue at the moment.. but I'm intrigued where they will go with that.

This is a pretty fun show. I liked the Korean version and I like this one a lot too. I've been using a vpn, but I'm hearing that after the last episode airs on April 22th it will be worldwide on netflix.

I wish people would stop sharing pirated links when its not that difficult to access this show. Free vpns work and they upload the last episode every Tuesday on their official YouTube channel. I hope all these people loving the show, but only using pirated stuff, also then rewatch through official ways to support the show.

I use earthvpn. Sometimes you need to clear your cache, turn on the vpn and then go to lovely writer on wetv. Every so often I need to reload the page, but it seems to work for me every time (once it gets going no problems). Good Luck!

okay lol! Again I did not read the book (I think its only like 3-5 chapters fan translated for English) and I'm not sure if they will change anything for the show or not. I read this spoiler from someone who read it.

I guess Nubsib and Gene were like childhood friends/their parents know each other/family friend type of thing. Nubsib ends up going abroad when they are younger but he's always had a crush on Gene. So that might be why it feels like Nubsib is always up to something/hiding something.... haha because he's being tricky/scheming.

I actually like this explanation personally.. because Nubsib always felt like a wolf in sheep's clothing.. so it feels less sinister to me now haha

I think at this point (and given Nubsib's outburst with Tum that he knows Gene's personality and all his likes and dislikes) we can kinda get the picture that Nubsib knows Gene prior to the casting. Which I think we will learn about in upcoming episodes. I think the outburst was kinda ignored because Nubsib seems to understand Gene's quirks and is just trying to keep on his path. Like it feels to me that they are both kinda ... that was uncalled for lets just agree to forget about it... lets pretend that didn't happen. I feel like that's kinda realistic actually.
