unpopular opinion but I actually like the fact they didn't focus on the romance
like imagine Jiyeong cooking her heart out only for the king to push the meal aside just to romance her while the food is third wheeling on the floor

I do keep my initial ratings for fairness but u know.. the rating in my heart lol

I just checked and I rated it 9.5 back then, I hardly give that rating so it means I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I'm thinking of rewatching it now and bracing myself mostly because I'm worried I might lower my rating because it might seem outdated today.

so far none. however the king (ml) has concubines and 1 of them is the antagonist. there's also the fl's friend who kinda fancies a guy but that's about it and there's no 2nd ml.
