this was good, some parts were really funny and I loved the parodies!
I would've rated it higher if not for the boring romance that ate up most of the last 2 eps!
I wasn't a fan of the side characters some of them were annoying, others were boring.
my fav characters were jin ji, young shik and ji won.

I met many people who academically know english but freeze in practise bcz they are not used to it in their daily life or they're dealing with natives with strong accents.

and idk how it goes in every country but most hotel jobs don't require it but prefer if you speak english or another language.

they feel embarrassed bcz some people correlate not knowing english to being uneducated or unintelligent, which is not true!

Brad Pitt probably doesn't even know a single Korean word and it's ok, he's not Korean. so non native english speakers shouldn't be embarrassed not knowing english.

usually Makjang has a lot of depth to the characters despite the ridiculous twists, however, this one tried to be trendy with makjang but took the worse of both sides, short drama + the ridiculousness, which made it lacking in many aspects.

even tho in the story Haru isn't a ml but as viewers we know he is actually THE ml the moment he appeared, which to some of us that's very predictable and a not plot twist.

we're not necessarily saying Baek kyung should've been the ml but his character was a lot more intriguing than Haru. now if in some major plot twist he ended up with the fl nobody would've seen that coming and hell would've broke! some of us likes to be surprised lol
