I believe you. The places I worked before I had any sense of them being unhealthy or dangerous when I look back...
that's so sad.. rip I hope that company went bankrupt!
you're right they only care about profit in my country you HAVE to know your rights and be sly that's why they take advantage of inexperienced and foreigners and the sad thing is even when I try to show them their legal rights, many don't do anything bcz they are afraid to lose their jobs. the moment u have this mentality they'll abuse u, that's why I tell people u have to have the mindset that they need us and not the other way round, as long as u do your job that u signed up for they'll hold on to u for dear life.
health and safety regulations are pretty strict here too but many don't care about it and brush it off, like it won't happen, I won't die, it won't happen to me.
lol I do that too sometimes I think I'm paranoid.
hopefully. I think this is my first time seeing this issue in kdrama. especially in korea the things they have to do that aren't part of their job like having to drink with their bosses or obeying the ridiculous demands from their seniors. is crazy
oh come on a kiss scene at ep 3 of 40 eps.... let my enemies to lovers romance marinate! the screenwriter rewriting the story, I can see where this is heading. a bit too soon to reveal the plot twists

honestly I could write a whole book of the things I witnessed. it's a lot more common than people think, somehow these companies, even government entities get away with it.
in my old job they stacked so many boxes in front of the only exit and the fire extinguishers! so I went to remove them my boss got angry bcz we were under staffed and they wanted me somewhere else they came to check on me bcz they thought I was taking a break lol told me off why I'm doing smth that's not my duty blah blah I said I don't wanna die here they thought I was being too much and kept blocking the exit! and I kept removing them, they were huffing and puffing at me, I said if u want me somewhere else keep this place clear, they gave up. fast forward, a real fire happened! guess which exit saved us??

so we could get a feel of the original character roles
I would've preferred if they started it in a serious way
