why are jtbc releasing 3 eps a week tho? it's gonna end so soon
I believe to keep the show’s momentum and hype until the end. Some dramas get really boring after 8-10 episode mark and the viewership is hurt immensely, especially during main telecast time slot. I believe jtbc must have reviewed the show and found some flaws so made it 3 epis a week. Or maybe they just wanted to fill the Friday time slot as well due to lack of another drama for this year.
Im sorry but does anyone feel like this is quite different from any other cdrama that does this trope in the best…
I’m sorry, I just didn’t get what you mean by excellent cinematography? It’s pretty basic all the way through. It’s just that it’s the 21:9 movie ratio like most shows, it does not do anything with regards to the cinematography, tbvh.
But genuinely, I don't throw around these praises loosely but Episode 8 felt like a movie! They spent a good amount of money, clearly, tvN. The weird yet cool twist certainly tightened the show's grip on me. I wasn't all that into this because I couldn't see progress in the story earlier but I do hope to see some good content in the upcoming episodes.
Old style comment. There is no relationship between a good drama and the TV station that broadcasts it. Good drama…
The music is overdone, the romantic scenes are forced, a lot of tropey elements, somehow this is very common in KBS/SBS shows because they're meant for mass appeal. I see stations demanding such stuff because in the end, they need to make money from it and appeal to their type of audience. They're also a little conservative, for example, I'm yet to see better representation in SBS/KBS shows.

But they do, SBS has had a track record of adding cringe elements to dramas. They’ve done some high budget shows like The King or Vagabond but I still don’t trust them as much as I would an OTT or tvN/jtbc
