Genuinely loved the show. Just wow, great job from the cast and the crew who clearly worked hard on this. Loved the consistency in the plot. Liked that some cases were based on actual crimes. Kim Hyesoo does a BRILLIANT job and I love the character, also the fact that they don’t change her character’s convictions or beliefs for the sake of the plot, but rather added a layer to her in the end. Very fitting background music. Netflix allows it to be this raw and also let the makers go about it the way they want.
Now the downsides, the camerawork suddenly got downgraded after first few episodes, I liked those couple of drone shots. It was also kinda *extra* how a judge went out of their way to investigate cases too, even if it’s a juvenile court judge, it isn’t really believable, also knowing exactly what all can go wrong. Also, they always have just one detective/police station on speed dial?
Well anyways, solid 9.5/10 from me. Great job. If the makers come up with good story for another reason, I’d be more than happy to watch it.
For new people coming after Netflix release: Watch it if you want a good dose of thriller genre, mix that up with great acting, cults and fitting camerawork and music. Gets a bit messy in the second half but I really liked the ending so was worth it.
Unfortunately, Netflix got the tvN version and not the Uncut/Director's Cut TVING version.
My suggestion: Watch it as a midnight binge, makes the show feel much better haha.
I enjoyed the episode, it delivers what it promised. No complaints there. Not a fan of FL’s acting for some reason, maybe she needs to settle into the character, but I like how both the women are fun characters. Good to see Seol In Ha on-screen (and Kim Min-gyu in a project that’s not shit). All the men are hot too, but I just kinda think this typical-chaebol heir hairstyle doesn’t really suit Paul Ahn much. Filled with cliches, but that’s what we signed up for.
P.S. Netflix subtitles were surprisingly decent this time. Good times ahead?
Giving me per-2017 vibes haha. The title card/opening is just as half-added as the poster. Though, will judge the storyline after I complete the episode! The editing is so dramatic haha. Feels like a perfect aimed-at-teens drama.
Edit: Just remembered it’s an SBS show, these complaints make sense then, won’t repeat them in comments again because this isn’t unusual then 😅
They really making me come here to praise it every week. This show is just too good. We haven't got this good of a weekly cable K-drama in a while. Also revived the tvN sat-sun timeslot for me.
Happy that some who were doing mental gymnastics over how it all ends are rather enjoying the drama like me for now 😆
LOL at the timing of the episode, is raining heavily where I am (but the forecast predicted it right). K-dramas can make any profession and workplace dramatic haha, but that’s why it’s a drama.
I’m still not sold on the characters to be honest. But it’s a decent time pass in the weekend, which is why I’m continuing.
The finale was a bit of an unnecessary rollercoaster but still loved it, what are even K-dramas withiut them haha... But wow, what a drama. One of the best Korea has to offer. Pure bliss. The cast and the makers did so well. Great music, beautiful scenes at times. Yoo Bora is an amazing writer, did so well in her earlier works then this and Reflection of You. The consistency and the tone is commendable in her works. Also noticed how there's a possibility she got to know Hyunbeen through cameo in this which lead to a main role in ROY. Great soundtrack (again Yoo Bora carried the same team to ROY). I think it was good i rewtached/watched it rather slowly so it didnt feel draggy, though it was a bit lengthy. I do wish i got a couple of things we didnt in the end.
im so sad this drama didn't receive that much hype. this needs to be talked out more. it has a very modern and…
It’s not a surprise, the show is for niche audiences who would actually care about it. Especially on international forum like MDL, most of the people here are teens or people looking for comfort/romance dramas. Even if not everyone tweets or talks about it, I think it will still do decent in terms of viewership. Also has a cast of proven good actors.
Netflix is ruining what k-dramas are. They release all episode at once, and end the drama with unsatisfying damn…
Netflix is what is saving K-dramas from the monotonous, draggy mess so many stories that don’t need to be are becoming. I may not like the brand, but Netflix K-dramas have been the best thing Korean content has seen this past year
