Kim Tae-ri is bringing THE energy into the character! Such good performances in the first episode itself, very much unlike the JTBC-drama which also started today.
I actually thought that Song Kang has improved a little (did he get classes?) but then most scenes were straight-up eunwoo-level performance 😣 Please settle into the character and give us good acting for once. Also, FL & SML lack substance in their characters. Pretty visuals though, hope the quality is maintained.
Can't believe I'm saying this: weather stuff is more interesting than the characters.
It is important to prioritize, here we learn that having the newest Samsung is worth more than food an important…
🤣 but to be honest, in a technology advance country like Korea, where connectivity matters so much, I can see some of us skipping breakfast to save up for the latest phone 😭
The poorest of poorest character sometimes gets the latest Samsung phone... Good example would be At a Distance, Spring is Green SML, my guy couldn't afford doing lunch but had the S21+ 😭
Ah i get it. 별똥별 (Korean title) has 똥 (ttong; means poop or sh*t) in it hahahah
I can’t believe someone actually went through the trouble haha, this is indeed what I meant. But also, wait for the English posters! It really will be stylised like that 😭
Not sure if we watched the same ep5-6, but he had many animated moments in these last two episodes. Scenes are…
Saying he’s stone-faced would definitely be an exaggeration. I’m enjoying the show, would it be weird to say that the thing I hate the most is that it isn’t present in 4K HDR like Netflix shows? Haha. But also, I’m still waiting for proper introduction to the rest of the main characters which we haven’t really got. I wonder if we need it but still, would be nice to have it.

I've actually seen only EP5 till now and I agree, he's doing better than expected for sure. I just kinda found his expressions out of place at times, it's probably the directing too, not just his acting. Or maybe we're just used to typical long K-drama staring scenes and it's actually good they don't waste time on that in this show.
Tak better control his anger issues/temperament lol or at least I hope there is a storyline around it. People with such issues shouldn't dream about getting into law enforcement.
Also, KD was acting better in the first couple episodes, what happened, then? He's kinda having a hard time. Is there gap between filming or he just can't do the "hidden feelings" part right? My guy needs some classes, but he's thankfully not unbearable...
Got this synopsis from CJ ENM's PR: "A 24-hour suspense thriller drama in which an ordinary man has to kill a serial killer living next door to save kidnapped daughter."
Well wow, the whole story episodes is set in one day like "24"
Currently watching this: very pretty leads, cool setting, beautiful wagashi and kimonos, I spotted a smartphone once in the whole first half and they don't use them much even though it's set in 2020, i don't mind it lol. My eyes do hurt while watching it, though, because just like other j-dramas, the pixelated quality, the flat focus, the lack of multiple angles., blah-blah... Yeah, anyway, pretty leads.
Episode 3 was really good in terms of writing. The dialogue by the Dean was great writing and I hope it will also allow the viewers to think rather than just complain about harsh environment in a police training uni.... (by no means do i support bullying tho, but there's a depth to everything)
And I hope those who were complaining about not seeing a proper reaction to it in the show, well, there is. And it's obviously dramatic and not possible in an actual school like this.
