Honestly the stupidest logic of this show is that even the zombies splatter their blood on your face, eyes, mouth, you still don’t turn into one. It would have been fine if they made it clear that it only spreads through a bite but we saw earlier that it can easily spread if you even rub dried up blood of the zombie on a wound. No one thought of this?

Though, enjoying the show and currently in episode 6.

Its not about that... his delivery is very weak. I see that the character has potential, i just didnt like the actor. But again, too early to judge, will come back if to praise too if he gets better :)

As of now, no, not really. Standard high school students and some bullies, with usual cold characters. Though, there’s potential and definitely feel like they’ll have good dynamic together in the story.

First episode: SHIT goes down bad pretty fast. Makes me a little worried how they’ll fill 12 episodes. action packed and gory with lot of blood and abuses so keep that in mind if you start.

I don't think she'll have to act much judging by the first episode... It'll be like Song Kang in Sweet Home. (That man can't act to save his life but he was okay as an emotionless character)

Exactly right with draggy and waste of time... Let's also mention how the characters were useless. I've just watched the first episode of this and it has more action than all of Happiness combined.

Completed first episode and it's a great start. Su-hyeok's actor seems awkward in the role, maybe he'll settle into the character soon but for now he kinda looked bad compared to the other cast.

Uh... that sounds a lot like Squid Game. Netflix won't pick this one up for sure. Remaining contestants are TVING and Waave, I think it'll go to TVING.

Second, critics reviewed are mixed as of now. Though, don’t bother listening to anyones opinion if they rated hellbound well. I’m very excited, this show is going to be good.

Also, just to make it clear, I absolutely understand your viewpoint. But what you probably saw as an European is "god that's awful, how can anybody be in this environment" while I as an average Asian saw it as " Aw sad. this always happens, ugh poor girl." Yeah, the reaction may kinda make me seem like a person with zero sympathy but 🤷🏻‍♂️

it is both, i agree, the scene is shitty and harsh. but the girl also left already after one such incident (not her fault, but as i said, we in this society are ready for this when we sign up). Did we see anybody mention they like the trainer tho or fawn over him? they don't. they did what they had to at the moment and can't just fight for reform on the spot, they care about their careers too. my belief is we'll see more as the show goes on.

The difference is that it's not just any school drama, environment related to military/police is like this in most of asia. We go to miltary camps/trips at least once or twice in High School and it's harsher than this with possible abuses lol if the training camp is a legit one, I've gone through it like most other asian students. Yes, it is normalized. If the leads weren't character but actual people, that would have basically been them going wayyyy out of their way because it's normalized in the society to some extent. I get your point, it just doesn't apply here as such. it was a normal everyday after raising thier voice once because they were prepared for this when they enrolled. sure, if it leads to something worse in the drama, we'll see the outcome of that, i guess.

Sorry but if you're not, I doubt you'd understand it better than us. We know things like bullying and powerplay are shitty. So is verbal abuse that a lot of Asian kids face from even their parents — I'm not being harsh, but I doubt you will get it. Do we want a reform in this society? We absolutely do. Things like what you saw here with the trainers being extra harsh, unfortunately it's VERY normal. Maybe worse in reality. We're not talking about it because it's part of the training for Police academy/military academy in Asia that we definitely would want to change but have been used to facing it. The drama does not depict it harshly at all but it's not all bubbly and good either. We're not rooting for it but it's still better than reality. The fact that it has such nice "professors" is actually a lil unrealistic haha, at training unis like these, they won't give you chance to talk. Whatever you face, respecting your seniors is necessary and a must, something that the west is not very familiar with. Most asian countries have honorifics and different way of talking for a reason too, the west doesn't. Though, that's a different talk and very something even people of the same culture debate about a lot.

edit: also if you mean by being familiar with asian ideology through dramas or asian friends living in europe, oh nope haha, i wish., again, i don't mean any of this rudely, sorry if i come off as that :)

Are you from Asia (regarding the power tripping/bullying)? I'm just asking because it'll be easier for me to explain then.

1. Somewhat enjoyable 4 lead guys, decent female lead who's not forcefully bubbly or cold either.
2. I'm no fan of idol-actors but KD is much better than the likes of Cha Eunwoo/Joy for a rookie
3. The trainer guy and his screams are great lol.
4. I'm happy they acknowledged how less female students still opt for/get into Police Uni lol, I thought for the sake of plot they'll alter stuff like that.
5. I wish there was comedy, there isn't (if they think it's there, well, I'm not laughing at all so they gotta improve)
6. 2 episodes in but only the female lead has been properly introduced, I hope they don't drag it out but 16-episodes so I'm not optimistic.

Haha, I know exactly the softwares they use which is why I felt the need to just mention that it didn’t look good. I am really looking forward to the show after how good the teaser was and how good the zombie-extras seem lol and how it’s action packed and bloody. Doesn’t mean I can’t express an opinion on one of the aspects 😊 regarding nobody caring, I’m not sure why you felt the need to reply then and why we are on MDL 😉

I’m criticising the poster saying it looks like a fan made one and is worse than the posters they unveiled earlier for the show. They did the same with hellbound.
