Agree. They definitely “Took a bullet and dodged a bomb” with this one if they can handle the situation well enough. I just noticed a thing: sometimes they just compile snippets from another coming up episodes as well. for example, in the preview for ep 12 there’s a scene where JHS and Vincen had a meeting and drink together but it’s not shown on the actual episode. We need to get used to it since the showrunners definitely do it on purpose to troll us hahahaa.

Yes when MLSHR aired they got some negative critics as well I read somewhere, but not really that harsh and not because of China. They said the languange was “too modern” for Goryeo period and some critics call it Goryeo version of Boys Over Flowers (this is just a matter of prefrence actually).. Not really the stuff that could get a drama cancelled since MLSHR got almost everything else right. Hae-soo’s existence didn’t change the course of history as well so I don’t think MLSHR would get cancelled.

I think the main issue is with the sponsors. They withdrew so easily and fast in just 2 days. RWTMR’s sponsor didn’t even do that, that’s why RWTMR survives while JE doesn’t. They should’ve give JE a chance to fix the mistakes they made, but at the same time they’re probably afraid that Knetz are going to boycott their products too... The whole situation is a mess.
