Viki has always focused on Asian dramas.Whilst American, (some of) their founders have East Asian heritage. Also,…
The founders technically had American citizenship but two were Asian and one a Cairo-born Armenian. They used to have headquarters in Singapore. But they sold it to Rakuten in 2013. Yes, today the headquarters are indeed in San Mateo, California, with subsidiary offices in Singapore, Tokyo, Japan, and Seoul, South Korea. Rakuten Group, Inc. is a Japanese technology conglomerate based in Tokyo (headquarters in Setagaya City, Tokyo, Japan). As they say in their "About" page, "Serving users worldwide through businesses based in 30 countries and regions. Rakuten Group has 70+ businesses and About 1.8 billion members across the world." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viki_(streaming_service) https://global.rakuten.com/corp/news/press/2013/0902_01.html Here are the discussions on Viki itself when the sale was announced. As you can see, no one was too happy about that. https://discussions.viki.com/t/sale-of-viki-to-rakuten/150 https://global.rakuten.com/corp/about/
I saw it and was like "what's with all the pointy bits?" It's like the BFF pendant from hell.
And he wore it on the wrist of the right arm, the one he uses for the mouse when he's on his PC. When you use a hard bracelet with a mouse it drives you crazy. At work, I've always worn bracelets on the non-mouse arm (for me the left).
I've officially had it with this show. I have no idea what is going through the writer's mind. It actually seems…
To be frank, the female lead doesn't have chemistry with either man. One has to wonder why they are both smitten with her. My theory is that they are attracted to her because they see she is so child-like, so the make them feel protective and "the strong man, pillar of the family". And this boosts a man's ego. To be fair, even in real life, I've seen men be attracted to childlike airheads more than to mature, rational women (regardless of other factors like beauty). So that much is realistic.
I'm literally going crazy. I think this is the worst Kdrama ending in history. Just like this whole drama. This…
Okay, it was pretty bad, but to say "the worst k-drama in history"... hm... We've seen like this and worse. Unfortunately. I could make a pretty long list. But yeah. So many hours of our time that are not going to come back.
Yes, some of us are "grown up" enough to not want or need to watch sex in Korean dramas to be entertained! Stop…
Yes but there are so many dramas to watch. There can be a few you don't like, and it's perfectly all right; so don't watch them and let other people who want to. As long as you have been warned (and in this case everybody knows it by now).
I have been reading testimonials of adopted people online and they all somehow long to meet their birth parents,…
I was talking about her too - in a roundabout way, LOL. Saying that it's a known fact that at some point adoptees want to meet their biological parents. That said, saying "yes" to everything and not asking any questions, following him blindly and giving him her phone were all very immature, naive actions.
