Lately some shows come already subbed in Portuguese and or Spanish. For instance, the Japanese drama Eye Love You that comes on April 19th will be pre-subbed in English and Portuguese.
Of course, they put them young and handsome for the viewers' enjoyment. Although the kings of that time very rarely lived long enough to become fat oldies - they were assassinated much before that by scheming Left State Councillors and by their own relatives. Generally the life expectancy at the time was quite shockingly low. The only ones who lived to old age were eunuchs (I read a study about that!)
What do you mean exactly by this? There will be Portuguese subs, as there always are. Portuguese is one of the most popular languages on Viki, after English.
Yeah ....and on top of that , each ep is 60mins long instead of the usual 30mins
Usual 30 minutes? Where? This only happens when they split one episode into two parts so that they can put ads in-between. But that was only for a couple of years, then they came back to normal, which is 60 mins for k-drama. Whereas Chinese dramas are typically 45-min (of which 5 min opening and ending song, so basically 40')
I really hope this isn't too serious and doesn't have a lot of angst. It's been forever since I watched a lighthearted,…
So you probably have already watched Mr. Queen, 100 Days My Prince and Tale of Nokdu, since they are older. Have you also watched Forbidden Marriage? That was a lot of fun.
Apart from the cut itself, I think they used too much of a blow-dryer from inside to outside. Thus the poofy top. Maybe they wanted to make him look taller? But he doesn't need it, he's tall already!
Is it only me who hates that yellow permed hair on the male lead? His complexion is a bit more wheatish (slightly tanned), so he would have looked 10 times more handsome with his natural hair colour and style. Not a big deal, but every time I look at it, it bothers me a bit.
i do pick the same opinion , in my teenager year i watched anime so i begin to watch jdrama before kdrama in that…
But we are not talking of illegal streaming. Even the legal streaming sites have very little Japanese content. Speaking of Viki, it has only exclusively rom-coms, school romance, some sexy rom-coms. With the rare exception of series such as Midnight Diner Three Star Bar in Nishi Ogikubo, Deliveries from the Heart - True stories from Mercari and Osaka Loop Line. Nothing else! Social, psychological, thriller, action, historical, nothing! The illegal streaming sites have much greater variety.
How many KDramas have you watched? I can pickup words during the ML’s thoughts, but…. I guess I just might…
Most of his thoughts are very basic, one could get the gist. If you hear him say that she's "ippuda" or that he "chua-he" her, and he "pogeushippo" her, then you don't need anything else really.
