Its probably not something you enjoy, but I'd say watch till episode 4 to see if you like it better. I absolutely love it the way it is! My fav kdrama from 2020!
I am really excited about this show, but I really hope the setting remains the DMZ and not the village. That'll be disappointing. We were all excited about the trailer which showed the action among the tall grasses and forested regions.
I'm really enjoying this, the plot about the silk business, upper and lower class divide and government interference is fun. I haven't come across something like that in all the time I've been watching dramas. The ML really grew on me. He's shuai.

Episode 8 has me on cloud 9! Jun-a that was such a perfect confession <3 Let's rave about everything that happened today- 1. Ra Ra was as usual a pure whirlpool of joy. 2. Jun being himself and saying no while doing everything that Ra Ra wants. 3. Jae Min being a cinnamon roll. 4. The purest confession ever. All the first love feels. OMG!! 5. Now we know how Jun knew Ra Ra when they first met.
So initially I was put off by the ML but I gave it another try and this show is quite entertaining. I love Bai Lu and she is doing a great joh here. The script is very fresh and is keeping me interested. Since it has some new tropes I'm not compelled to skip most of the scenes as I do in many other dramas. Overall I think I'm going to enjoy this.

I completely agree with you but then I've found this theme in dramas that men are always treated unfairly, they should be absolutely perfect and have no needs. I guess its part of the exaggerated romantic fantasy for women, but sometimes it feels a little too unfair. He it was pretty milk, very heavy in the case of Love and Redemption.
