Why has this disappeared from the top currently airing?

yea I think maybe it was just not some people's type of drama and they rated it low and dropped.... I was just trying to understand why this would have lower ratings... I've seen it stuck at 8.6 for a long while too.

How is this show rated only 8.8?
This is gold standard. With all my drama watching, this one really stands out with a very unique plot and all the sub plots that have been so well paced within the show. The characters and actors are so ENTERTAINING! All the jokes are original. None of the tropes that you have predicted a million times over. Its just really good. I don't get the rating :/

This drama would have been greatly improved if the pacing were faster at the beginning and a proper unravelling of the case. We have one episode to go with so many loose ends. There were less characters to focus on (especially the police duo). It would also make sense to keep KYJ in focus more often and less on her cheater husband's ways. At the end of the show, I feel like I know almost nothing about the MC other than the cold front she puts on and it makes her hard to root for. I still do root for her though. I was absolutely not interested in KMR and her abusive relationship either.

I do have to commend the writers on not letting me completely hate the husband. With all his cutesy and lost attitude, it became kind of tolerable. Even though he's being a scumbag cheater I don't actually hate him too much I just want him divorced and out of KYJ's life.

Well let's hope for some answers today and a better life for KYJ!

deals with very serious issues like cheating, betrayal, divorce, breaking up of families etc.

2 episodes of this drama were enough to suck the life out of me, resolve to never ever marry and look forward to an early death.

Its well made though, it may be a relevant and interesting plot for some though.

I'll try to avoid this since its not good for my mental health.

This drama is so effin amazing I CANNOT!! Its the most fun I've had watching a drama since CLOY! LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

In the novel they are living together happily. In the show its indicated that they come back together and stay together though not explicitly stated.

You are talking about shin the crazy evil dude right?? He's not a high schooler.

If you're talking about the mayor's son (his name is hyeok u and last name shin so maybe you're referring to him) then yea he's a high schooler. To me that casting seems fine but I see that he may look too old to some.

shin isn't a high school student? he is a 26 year old man with daddy issues

Why is the leading lady more like a side character on this show? :(
I was so excited about the mystery but the story has been dragging on with not enough focus on the lead Yeo Joo and. Most of the time we are watching Woo Sung being a prick with various women.

I love this show. There's a lot going on but its all mysterious and fun! I can't automatically figure out the entire plot based on troped so that's great. So happy I found this.

yes but doesn't really have the angst, the leads seem clear with their inclinations and are together early on

Just cause the two leads kiss at the end doesn't make it a good ending. it was so poorly executed, playing the jun deceives rara card for the millionth time (not even noble idiocy, literally let her grieve about his death for 5 f*cking years, that ain't a joke)

I wanted a happy ending, but the landing was TERRIBLE. I would have preferred it without the last 5 mins where he come back alive.

That's probably EXACTLY what happened. I wonder why writers in South Korea are not learning the lesson from the backlash to other dramas depicting any romance between high schoolers and adults (Backstreet Rookie had to buckle and make a lot of changed as well). They could have just made Jun a runaway from college or something?

Although all the comments have a united take today, unfortunately, its about the negative feelings we have about the finale. What a terrible way to end a drama I loved so so much for some time. I wanted to come here and share love tonight :(

But anyways, thank you guys for having a good time watching sweet heartwarming episodes with me. Hope we see more of Go Ara, Jae Wook and the rest of the cast, each of them were EXCELLENT.

He could have just broken up with her(HE ACTUALLY DID but just didn't follow up on it) instead of doing the whole "I'm literally DEAD" thing. The bait and switch 10000 times after ep 10 was so annoying and I really wish this drama stopped at ep 12. I was so in love till ep 10!! WHYYYY

I only watch scenes with yuanbao's dad. He's funny and charming.

Although unfortunately the breakup and time skip seems to be a reality, ep1-10 was much better than ROY, which was an ultimate snoozefest. I haven't seen DYLB so I can't compare.
