I mean I don't understand people can see romance between a 900 year old man and a 20 year old girl , an alien…
I'm sorry that many of us have a bottom line for frikin incest. I know its just bait and they won't actually develop a complete romantic line, but this made the show cheap and has really put off many of us who were enjoying a sci fi plot. Now it just seems like a really bad makjang drama (no hate on makjang, I love some of them).
Interspecies romance is not the same because that is obviously a fantasy and those so called other species look and act completely human. Its not that hard to understand why that is not a problem for most people while incest is.
Dors anyone know where i can get ep 51 eng subbed?

I don't want to come here just to hate on this but damn I was actually enjoying the show before this creepy af romance started. I just started watching ep8 and oh my god. Yuck :(
I found ep7 weakest of the series. The actual plot movement in relation to time travel and its consequences was almost non-existent in this episode. At this point the only person I like is Min Hyuk. The hinted incest-y theme (yeah not his actual mom but someone who is EXACTLY like his mom) is very hard to deal with. They even added the damn childhood connection with the adult versions holding balloons, I cannot take this much cringe.
Its a twisted time travel concept... he meets his mom when they're about the same age and make a baby....that baby is actually him. According to other comments, this concept was used in predestination and dark.
Don't worry, its HIGHLY unlikely that such a plot would be aired by a Korean production. Although the way they are portraying the confusion is already annoying but such extremes won't be shown.
Man last night's episode was way too weird with the mom lookalike - son dynamic. I cannot get through this level of weird. I did like seeing her scene with MH though. Also the physicist TY doesn't seem like a serious professor and is overall very annoying. The mom version of her who is plainly dressed and older looking is more interesting and fun to watch. Not a fan of DY either.
But at the same time, I like the entertainment value of the sci-fi plot and time travel, hidden villain etc. I guess I'll just have to keep watching and hope it doesn't get too weird?
For people saying that there is a lot of talking.......Did you, like, not watch the first season? I don't know…
I am enjoying season 2's complex storyline and the different cases involved. I think the whole mystery is written very well to keep us guessing. However, I am disappointed with the long pointless conversations that sometimes feature in season 2. When the plot moves quicker like in ep 6-8 and Si Mok takes up more screen time, I enjoy things a lot more.
Examples of mundane conversations from yesterday's episode would be: 1. The police team standing around the whiteboard listing out different things that could have happened. This scene was rather long and only has a little takeaway for the plot. 2. Yeo Jin discussion with Team Lead about the ways to keep a body hidden. This conversation was very logical but way too mundane and I got bored.
Everyone doesn't have the charisma of Jo Seung Woo to hold my attention even while doing mundane things. It really becomes a problem when Si Mok feels like a secondary character and gets doesn't do much. Regardless, I'll keep watching and enjoying the show. I have to admit that I have higher expectations from this drama than other things that I'd watch on a whim. I literally am paying for Netflix just for this one show because I loved season 1 so much.
If we compare it with season 1, I felt like Hwang Si Mok had more to do in that season and that's why I was always engaged. However, since it has been a long time since I watched it anyways I'm not trying to compare the seasons, rather I'm trying to watch this season on its own and make my conclusions.
Its alright if other people are disappointed with a show you love, it just that we have different expectations or preferences.

A lot of people like Legend of FuYao as well, I haven't seen it though.

I just watched L&R and that involves a lot of suffering but its not depressing in the way this is.
I cannot choose.
But I might really pick Si Feng. <3
