So I'm here to comment because I started watching this show because of the comments.
I LOVED the war between the shippers and haters of this weird mother/doppelganger-son combo. At first, just thinking about the premise, I thought its just a woman he mistook for his mom but isn't actually his mom, it kindof made sense, its a drama who cares. However, when I went and watched the show, it DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL. Shipping them feels so EW LOL. I'm loving the show right now, don't think a romance is necessary here... What do I do about my romance loving heart though?

Abolutely love him and his character. I like MLs who are straightforward with their affection. If I'm allowed to suggest I'd just like him to stand straighter and be more powerful since he is a war general prince after all :P
First 10 episodes were so so good! I'm a huge fan. Let's hope for consistency and a proper ending this time.... many shows these days have gone downhill at the end.

Really love the plot and pacing till now. Of course i'm not saying its the most intelligent sci fi plot ever, but definitely one of the good ones among kdramas. Enough intrigue and elements to keep you engaged and looking for more :)
Not in the slightest, the second guy even says 'eww' at the thought of kissing her. There were a few episodes…
I agree with you with the fact that it was handles maturely, but I think we're downplaying ZQs feelings by a lot. Somehow we want to assume that ZQ never had feelings for LJJ in the first place instead of the reality that he wasn't chosen. Then he did his absolute best to honour his promise to Li Ba to be a brother to LJJ. ZQ isn't a casual guy, he thought about it for a while before he decided to ask Li Ba first. Just because he didn't make a fuss we can't assume he never had feelings at all.
I think I would have been happier if this show was resolved by ep40. I can't stand watching controlling, screaming mothers. It ruins the whole mood. Oh well.... still loving the lighter moments so that's nice :)
Though i'm only on the 4th episode i can't help just by getting bothered by the FL . I'm liking everything else…
The FL here is very balanced, she doesn't have high grades but is pretty successful in her career since she chooses a field that suits her. She is also the most sorted person on the show... If you continue watching for a while you won't have these issues with the show.
Does anyone feel that yueliang is overreacting for love? I feel that way ... for her relationship with Lingxiao…
Yea its definitely an overreaction from her, I think she'll have to recognise her mistake and apologize. Its okay that she doesn't like him back, there was no reason to be so over the top about it. I think she'll realise she's in the wrong.
