And ML has usually played really nice, sweet characters only up til now, so I kinda like this new rough, tough side of him, even if his character's a bit toxic! π

No, you probably saw it in the bts, but that actual line: "Susu, this time we really won't see each other again" was never in the original release. This IS a newly re-added/deleted scene.
where is the scene where qingyu had his white hair?
Blink and you might have missed it! YQY w/white hair shows up in Epi 40, around 45:20 (he also shows up for a couple seconds earlier around the 24 minute mark as well when he took off his mask)
My next question is how old is TTJ in human age, when he died? and LSS's age after that 500 years?
Are you referring to his mortal age when YXW died and TTJ faked his own death (went to the Nether River?)
TTJ is age 20 when the drama starts (according to the conversation between him and ADG in Epi 2 where ADG says "for the past 20 years, your body has done nothing but given you pain..." ). Note: That mirrors the same age he was in the book as well (he became a hostage prince when he was 6, it's been 14 years since then, so he's 20 in the beginning)
YXW's age is less clear in the drama, I can't recall anything that would date her age at all... but in the book, LSS estimates her body's mortal age to be around 16-17 when she first became YXW (Note: LSS was 1000 immortal age but she considered that to be pretty young for an immortal).
Again the time she spent as YXW isn't super clear in the drama, but in the book she died/jumped off the tower about 2 years after she arrived (she had a 3 year max ticking time bomb to stab TTJ with the nails before the seal on the Desolation Abyss broke).
So if we assume it's a similar timeline in drama, that puts TTJ around 22 when he faked his death and went to the Nether River, and YXW about 19 or 20ish at her death/tower scene.
Because she gave him her divine essence, I believe he froze at that mortal age as most immortals/cultivated deities tend to. So even after 500 years, I don't believe he aged anymore. Nothing is said about how old LSS looks in human/mortal years during or after the 500 years in drama or book...

I can't pick top 1 but I can force myself to narrow down to top 2 favs, lol 1. Ancient Devil God is fire, I'm shallow and he's hot. I love his amber/green/grayish eyes, his "Devil could care less" attitude and his dark, vampy style.
2. I also love Hostage Prince TTJ, especially during the time when he was starting to discover his own power/strength and growing into his anti-villian self. Asthetically, I prefer his hair and styling of that era. A more simplier/clean/traditional xianxia styling. (His Emperor phase was a bit too flashy for me with the braids and fancier clothes. And his CJM phase was a bit too feathery for my liking (sorry!))

Today's final episode had wayyyyyyyy too much talking? Like the pacing felt so off. Everyone was dying/fighting and TTJ/LSS just had loooooong conversations in which he kept lying to her to bring out her goddess and she kept saying hateful "Imma kill you Demon Lord" like she always does due to her blind furyπ€¦π»ββοΈ So much talking and going around in circles in the sky. I was exhausted trying to get them to move along already, like take some type of action to save the world and yourselves. Go work on my (what I was hoping) Happy Ending π!
Well, that obviously didn't happen. If nothing, I'm 1) glad they at least said their goodbyes in that loooooong final conversation. All along TTJ has always expressed how sad YWX/LSS makes him cause she never says bye when she abandons him, she just ups and leaves or plans her death but never plans her goodbyes and 2) TTJ's other fear is that no one will remember him or his love for LSS. I'd like to think that LSS realized how much he loved her and that she too loved him just as much at the end. At least he'll live on in the legacy of his daughter. ππππ
I was hoping I'd cry at the end of the tombstone scene, but I was just too emotionally drained to care anymore... It felt like "too little, too late" for me from Li Susu. Just gimme us our TTJ back! He deserved so much better. It takes so little to make him happy! He's been an Emperor with plenty of wealth, he's been the ultimate most powerful being to have ever existed in their world (Demon God) with power beyond the imagination. Yet he'd give all that up for love, to be a husband, and living a simple life surrounded by family and he never got that, I'm so sad for his lost dreams π

But they actually went in and physically lived through the beautiful memory vs leaving their bodies behind and just dreaming it in their heads/sleep like with Ming Ye's Bo're dream, so it makes sense to me TTJ's version resulted in real life consequences (aka a baby!)
Like he whooshed them magically into the vision. Whereas they all "woke" up from Bo're by returning to their bodies and likely with huge headaches from napping way too long.

Ancient Demon God/DG 1.0 is sooooooo jaded and non-chalant about TTJ's speech in Epi 39 about not being totally unloved/having received some spark of love in his life that I wish we had a sequel specifically about ADG's origin story and why he is the way he is! I wanna see that cold of a man falling madly, deeply passionately in love too! Like tell us why he has green/gold eyes! Give him an epic grand love story too. He needs someone to distract him from his misery/end of times attitude, someone to give him sexy times too, someone to make him wanna live, and see that the world isn't so black & white like he thinks.
Cause a man that beautiful can't be alone forever! He was sooooo bored during TTJ's speech it was kinda funny to me how jaded he is about life, love, everything and everyone around him. That's some great acting on LYX's end!

And he did it via a xianxia style zoom/virtual call, didn't even have to be there in person to take it back. He just called into that fight and still won-that's the best part!

I feel like Xiao Lin in his 20-30 years of life had more infinite wisdom, loyalty, empathy and willingness to sacrifice for the betterment of his people than GYJW has shown in all his 500+ years of living in the immortal world. I'm still waiting for GYJW's brain to make an appearanceπ€¦π»ββοΈ
Omg, these two episodes (37 & 38) were soooooo good! So freaking nail-bittingly suspenseful in every second, gave me anxiety the whole time!
The osts were on-point too. Loved: * Liu Yuning's ost playing while CJM was accepting his sword and killing Di Mian * ε·δΈεΏ΅ playing while CJM was absorbing the evil bone (with his and Susu's screams in the background) *chef's kiss*
Why is GYJW being so majorly stupid in his immortal arc with his inability to stand up for himself, for TTJ, and so easily believing all the lies about TTJ w/ his Master's death & TTJ's Master's death. He seems to have lost all common sense, just going along with the lies and misunderstandings and letting that annoying Master Cen's biased views lead the way. Also annoyed he tried to hype up his clansmen and the others clans to charge into an early death with him (he pretty much assumes: We're all gonna die anyways, who wants to join me in dying sooner than later!? - - ughhhhhhh).
And now he's cut off Susu from his sect who is the only voice of reason left questioning if there's a bigger reason behind TTJ's recent change of heart and recent actions.
I'm just so frustrated with the lack of character development in GYJW π€π€π€
