I was intrigued by her candor and strength. I liked how genuine she was, and the way her and Lusi exchanged smiles and vibes just warmed my heart. It’s clear these two became fast friends, or already friends, while filming the drama; their chemistry is so charming!

Plus, DW can never fully unveil her true self to ZJR. His high morals and unwavering optimism make him see the world in stark black and white, while she’s more of a vibrant gray, dancing in the shadows of reality.

For real, I’m totally smitten with his acting! It’s cool that he, like Lusi, has never had any formal training. After this drama, his other dramas are next on my list, while I wait for LA.

I woke up super excited for the next episodes of this incredible drama. I can’t wait to see how viewers from all walks of life react when it starts airing on satellite TV.

I was honestly surprised too. Youku is the first Chinese streaming service I've subscribed to just for this drama, so I assumed other similar platforms would work the same way. TSOPG is so good I get why everyone wants to binge-watch. I’m so used to streaming on Netflix, Prime, Disney+, etc., where there’s no TVOD option at all. Plus, waiting a whole week for a single episode isn’t new to me—shows like The Big Bang Theory kept me hanging for 12 whole years! So, yeah, I’ve learned to be patient. That said, I love how C-dramas and K-dramas release their episodes so much faster. It’s such a treat.

I feel like I must be missing some important context here because I don’t get why it’s such a big deal to ask friends to support your work or for friends to show their support out of genuine love, respect, and friendship—even doing it without being asked. This kind of thing happens all the time in the entertainment world in English dramas and films. Celebrities constantly take to social media to ask their fans and the public to back their projects—it’s just normal behavior. So why is this young woman being criticized and having her motives questioned every single time she does anything? Honestly, it must feel like she’s living under a microscope. It makes me think how overwhelming it must be for the actors and actresses in C-entertainment when the level of attention becomes suffocating.

Totally agree. Those flashbacks of her mother teaching her were so essential. They really helped us understand the foundation of the FL's childhood beyond just her savage pearl diving training.
