2. All I have been seeing here are comments about how the drama felt off. I also felt it was off so I decided to put a pause and monitor feedbacks here from people just in case someone posts a really good point that would also make me resume watching.
3. My point still stands here that the ratings are low because there are people who genuinely was excited for this only for them to feel different about this drama.

There are haters here? I dont think so. I think there are just people who expected so much in this and got disappointed so far hence the low ratings.

A lot have been saying it could be the plot, the editing or the random comedic stunts inserted but I guess overall it just feels like i've been thrown into a world with no knowledge yet of what this is really about. It feels like that.

so I started this back then at ep 1 and paused for the mean time because I was prioritising some Chinese dramas. and now I'm coming back here. but can someone at least spoil me first of those things:

1. so the guy's soul died or vanished? coz it seems like the ending appears to be the imogi in the male lead's body.
2. the female lead loves the male lead before? or the imogi male lead?
3. at what episode did they confess their feelings to each other?

The drama overall after watching the 1st EP feels like it was filmed around 2012. It gives off such old vibe. hahaha.

I guess that contributes to the overall OFF feeling as well.

I kinda like the monkey. But it does look really cartoonish for me as well.

It does! I was thinking what felt off in EP1 and looks like it does lack a hook into the intro episode. I couldn't get into this right away. It felt like just being thrown straight to the core story somehow

really???? hmmm. I saw some xianxias before that also kind of filmed mostly with green/blue screens but they somehow executed it well.

it did felt like that to me. the part that wants to have the heavenly vibes but it's not that evident yet after watching the 1st episode. now, I just stopped temporarily. I'm waiting for more EPs to air just so maybe it changes my mind and I could continue watching.

Still, I couldn't judge fully yet since I'm just in the 1st EP but even at this stage now, it just does feel off so maybe it's also the things you mentioned that makes it off for me (for now) hopefully things get better.

yeah, I feel like I just need to get past through EP1 to see if I really would push through but if not, then it would be a shame since I wanted to see this CP. I hope there's better progress in this for me and my drama taste.
