Fu Gui really got his mom's personality and principles.. Rewatching Love in Pavillion (while also waiting for new episodes of this), You can really see Huaizhu and now her son, Fu Gui both had such strong empathy towards everyone (not just humans but to demons and beasts too).. Good thing Fu Gui did not inherit his father's beliefs and principles.
I also wonder it too. They said exactly Zhang qi is zhang zheng's son. But ,In LIP, I think they don't have time…
right. so I am curious how the heck is this Zhang QI born.. one thought in mind was he was adopted even before the battle stuff happened but knowing Zhang Zheng then, I don't think kids were something he wanted especially adopted ones.
Thoughts so far up until EP8: Let me share about my thoughts first of the characters. Fu Gui and Rumu, best cousins!…
p.s. and why is every male character here almost in love or in a relationship with demons? πππ This Zhang person, is he a descendant maybe or adopted who assumed the Zhang surname? that's something I want to knkw
Let me share about my thoughts first of the characters.
Fu Gui and Rumu, best cousins! β€οΈ I love everything about these 2. They're also both down (maybe) in love for demons. ππππ They truly share the same type of love.
Huaizhu, I've loved the previous series with her and Hong Ye as leads but now with this storyline, I can't help but think she was also the reason why Fu Gui has to deal with this shit from his father. I feel like Huaizhu put so much emphasis telling Hong Ye that Fu Gui will be the strongest among them. I need to rewatch the drama again but for now, I'm basing this off the flashbacks being shown. It was also Huaizhu who initiated the so called SOLDIER project for the alliance.
Qingtong, I do feel creep out with her spider appearance but LYT is so gorgeous in real life so she looks absolutely stunning as Qingtong..
Hong Ye, pisses me off big time and I hate how I couldn't really hate him because I know what he's been through.
Overall, and surprisingly, I didn't think I would anticipate more episodes from this drama but here I am.. moreso, I found this even more enjoyable now maybe because I watched the previous stories so I know I could connect with each character.
Hong Ye... bro.. wtf is this truly?? I know you would be a cruel father but c'mon now. YOUR SON JUST WANTED TO SEE HIS MOTHER'S GRAVE AND PAY RESPECTS.. damn it. ππ
Noπ he is also dead. Only Hongye survived and one of his friend who is now riding wheelchair.
well, damn. ππ I totally erased the last few episodes of that series In my mind but I still enjoyed the series anyway coz the story is good.. but accdg to some spoilers, there's someone who's a new incharge of the family right? The one from Ding Yuxi's family in the series. I forgot if he was a Zhang or something
I need to freshen up from the last series. who among the squad survived aside from the dad now. is Ding Yuxi's character alive in the last series???? just starting EP1 and I'm excited as I loved the story of this guy's parents. π
Ep 1? You haven't seen nothing yet. βΊοΈ Your eyes will thank you, keep going! π If you're going to watch…
I did watch Dashing Youth (didnt watch the other one though) but I dropped it halfway. I think I was juggling that series with 2 more and ended up dropping it completely since I didnt enjoy much (I was mainly watching it for Neo. But storywise, I was able to at least stay up until the middle parts of the drama).. I'll give this 5 episodes in. If I am not really into it, I'll just drop it.
This is my best drama so far in 2025. But if your definition of 'impressive' is romance, then this drama is not…
I don't typically consider stories with ROMANCE genres to be impressive dramas just that based most of the time, it's nice to have that so it's not too dark of a storyline for me... but just speaking in general that I am not into wuxia and if the 1st episode doesnt necessarily hook me in, then I am doubting to go in further. Started this because I am a fan of GJ and CHS's previous dramas. I did watch a lot of romance related plots so I wanted a change and was trying to see if this one is for me (with the knowledge that this isnt going to mainly ever focus on romance if there was but I still needed a form of confirmation from those who had already went further in)

Okay, based off your comment, this seems promising. I clicked on this because I have been a fan of Gong Jun and Chang Hua Sen's previous works so I thought I might give this a try. Thanks!!
I need some spoilers. I did watch Dashing Youth but had it on hold and eventually dropped halfway through. I need to know if this is something worth the watch.
1. is there any romance? 2. does it get better? I'm only at EP1 and it's not catching my attention just yet 3. any hint of romances with female and male leads here (doesn't matter if main or secondary leads) 4. Bromance perhaps? I've seen GJ and HS had fight scenes in EP1 but people saying here they have bromance aspects..
I'm not into WUXIA dramas generally but if I do watch one, it really has to be impressive. so far, CGI is so good.
story is perfection honestly. truly worth the wait. the only thing pissing me off now is, where the hell are those kissing scenes which we saw from leaked clips from last year??? the kisses were all amazing too but it felt like there were only less as compared to the spoilers. πππ I really need another drama from HMH and LYX. A modern drama would be good too.
Now that I have reached EP 18, I can say, In years of being in CDRAMA world, I am only impressed with 2 female assasin characters so far. First Liu Shi Shi in A Journey to Love, and now Li Qin in Fated Hearts as Fu Yi Xiao. These 2 women know exactly how to be that badass assasin. Their movements are so good.

DAMN.. πππππ
but on a normal story aspect, he would've been a crazy guy to fall in love with a SPIDER (demon)..

BITCH I WAS SCREAMING IN MY SEAT!!!!
LOL! THAT PRINCESS FINALLY GOT SLAPPED WITH THE REALITY!!!! THANK YOU. SHE NEEDED TO KNOW HOW USELESS SHE WAS.
and that "My condolences" that came out of the king's mouth. πππ I WOULD BE HYSTERICAL if I was the empress.
LMAO. this episode got me so good.
