Am I the only one who thinks that if she touches someone with a troubled past, the curse is activated? Maybe nothing…
There has to be something unique about him. Cause the grandma said he had to come and pray with her, and had to do good deeds at the certain time of day, so he may have some sort of warding off evil powers or something idk

I want to like this show but there is SO much filler already. Like do we need a 5 min car chase scene, a 5 min scene where he chases her through the entire hotel, extended scenes of people walking into rooms where there might be something creepy . There has been very little actual plot so far, like enough plot for maybe half an ep. It's wild that it took an entire week for them to actually touch, that should have been the end of the first ep.

I also don't feel any romantic chemistry between the leads. They have fine colleague chemistry, but zero spark so far. idk if I will keep watching

this is so badly written idk from where to start but here’s some scenes that were just confusing me - when the…
Also, why didn't the prosecutors/investigators talk to the people who were staying on either side of the hotel room until this point? They really went through a whole trial where they were low on direct evidence and didn't think to find the flight attendant that was registered as staying there to see if she'd seen or heard anything?

And the douchebro murderer's dad throwing around some fake news in one press conference is going to derail their case because...? The judge isn't gonna be like "well, you guys have shown us all this really solid evidence but his dad said it wasn't him so I'm just gonna ignore it." Unless the dad buys off the judge or something but they made it seem like just the press conference made a difference.

The logic in this show is thinnnn

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. The story had quite a bit of depth, esp in the second half as all the layers unfolded. The two leads anchored the story emotionally really well, I was invested in them and I liked that they didn't overdo the romance, it made their bond seem more meaningful.

NJH makes a great action lead, his tall, broad frame felt genuinely powerful and he has the charisma to pull off big roles like this. I'd love to see him in more similar roles like this vs rom coms.

I'm saying it, this will do more numbers than Teach you a lesson
It wasn't in the top ten today (while spooky love is) which made me nervous . We need a S2

no kiss? lol just kidding. it's always the non-romance that has so much chemistry hahaha
I love these types of K dramas where them holding hands for 30 seconds feels like we won the lottery.

Title The East Palace Spoiler
Greed is a hell of a thing. The Dowager looks like she has had a stroke and can hardly walk, yet here she is coveting…
That scene where she limps up to the throne was one of my favorite

I didn't mind the FL's impulsivity until the end when she drugged him, like she had almost killed them both the last time she didn't listen to him and tried to do it her own way so it just didn't match with her character arc.

Korea has funny standards, like a guy who is clearly a groomer is welcome back and a actress that was "excessively…
I def side eye her for demanding her boyfriend not even look at his costar during press tours, but at the same time that's between the two of them like we all got hangups and she was clearly just super insecure and didn't know how else to handle it. Meanwhile guys can actually commit crimes but they're the "misunderstood" ones.

People really underestimate nam joo hyuk as an actor, now every pre watch review is praising nam joo hyuk for…
He struggled when he was younger in roles, he was not a good actor overall, but he improved over time and got a lot of praise for 25-21 for his acting but hasn't been in much since then so people aren't wrong in hoping but not being sure he will be good.

of course let’s criticise the female lead right away but never the cute oppa, right ? misogyny as its finest
I'm a feminist too but this is literally the first comment I've seen criticizing the FL and not the ML sooooo

Only 8 ep... Kdrama is like fast food now 😅.
When K drama scriptwriters can handle more than 8 eps without the story falling apart then we can have more than this. Even 12 seems like too much for them these days.

Shitty move from the FML lol. Don't get me wrong. Her actions were totally understandable if you look at it in…
Lolll I love the stream of consciousness.

Tbh I think he's just as anxious and damaged as her , he's just better at supressing it all. He also avoids conflict and keeps his feelings too much to himself-- people seem to be forgetting the reason she is feeling anxious is because he wasn't honest about meeting with his ex wife mutliple times and then lying about it once, she seemed to be handling it fine before that. That's on him. He could have at least told her that he had to meet to discuss something private about her family that he didn't feel like he could share, but he tries too hard to not upset her in any way and it makes things worse by him not being honest.

They both need to just stop trying to be what they think the other person needs them to be and instead just allow themselves and the other person to be angry or jealous or upset sometimes. Like if you just tell the other person how you're feeling you can work through issues in like 3 mins, and that's what happens every time they are actually honest, but neither of them can trust enough to do it consistently.

Not done with the new ep yet, but I like the Fl just a little less right now. Why is she so anxious? To the point…
I'm jealous of all of you here who don't suffer from anxiety because I relate to the FL sooo much and I know so many others who are like this. Just be grateful you can't empathize cause it means your life is a lot less stressful than others

Im starting to think fml should not be in another relationship for a while and get therapy lol, last relationship…
Idk I actually think if she can learn to lean on his stability instead of fear it then she can work through her issues, but she's too afraid to be the one who relies on the other more in the relationship, and too afraid to fully trust him. There is always one person in a relationships who needs more than the other at times, and one who is in the more vulnerable position, and that shifts back and forth depending on what's going on. And if he is fine being the anchor for her for a little while she moves through some of this stuff they can come out on the other side stable and stronger, and she can be the one he leans on, too.

Well even the break up didn’t annoy me because I feel like I could totally understand where the FL was coming…
What I love most is there is always a reason they don't tell the other person something in this drama, even if it's not the healthiest choice, instead of there being misunderstandings for no reason. I relate to the urge to avoid conflict or put off saying something you think will upset or hurt the other person, thinking "I'll tell them a little later". This kind of thing happens SO much in all kinds of relationships.

Man I feel like Yi Joon both does and doesnt have self awareness. I feel like she's so self aware about some things but is also constantly trying to make herself feel differently than she feels.

The only way it will work is if she starts being honest with him and herself, and if she can't then they need to separate until she can .

On See You at Work Tomorrow! Jul 14, 2026
The second lead couple is GIVING. That scene where he stared at her with tears in his eyes like he couldn't believe how lucky he was was so moving to me. It's nice to have these two to be happy for while the leads are struggling.

This drama is so refreshingly realistic for a change-- no huge trauma or episodes of separation cause of a misunderstanding , just two normal, flawed people trying to make things work. They are not gonna be happy together until they both own up to their own feelings and needs instead of trying to be whatever they think the other person needs them to be. Def looking forward to them working things out tho and growing .

This is the first time I actually don't mind having the love triangle? It's used in a natural way that enriches the story--getting back together with him was never a real option for her and he's not really causing the issues between them, he's just highlighting the stuff she hasn't fully worked through. Same with Si Woo's ex wife.

Idk I guess being in my 30s and having experienced a lot of different types of relationships I just relate to so much in this drama.

I do not like episode 8. The FL is really smth, I cannot understand her. Why is she getting jealous with the ex-wife…
Her whole issue is that she can't actually be honest with herself about how she feels about things cause she gets too attached to whatever ideal she has in her head of how she wants things to be (including herself). That's what she needs to learn to overcome if she's ever going to be happy. It doesn't make her immature, it just makes her human. She holds back a lot out of fear, which is why she didn't ask about the divorce and why she pretended like she was fine about his ex. And if she'd just let herself be jealous and petty and get mad at him for being late for like 20 seconds she could move past it and it wouldn't be an issue, but she makes it worse by telling herself she's not allowed to feel this or that and then gets overwhelmed.

Idk I like her and find her really relatable tbh. I find this really refreshing cause it's actual realistic issues people struggle with rather than angst just for the sake of it with zero character growth.
