Love the character growth for FL at the end of episode 9! One simple sentence "Don't go, stay by my side",…
It's rare for a drama not to stretch out the angst, but this one has showed the perfect amount to make it feel like real people trying to navigate through their issues
I mentioned it in another comment, but I'm not interested in watching our ML lose the entire series to the Evil…
I will scream if he does the noble idiocy thing and pushes her away to keep her safe from man do . Like SG has the little finger of joseon and he's not gonna use her skills to outmaneuver Evil Cousin King?
I keep waiting for SeGye to break, because he is going to break and he is going to fully throw off the gloves and that's when it will get really fun.
I also do not want to see the tedious loss after loss, I like instead the idea of him losing in a HUGE way around the halfway point, like the cousin makes what seems like a fatal blow, leaving SG with what seems like no options. And that's when SG and her team up to take him down for good. Cause I really like that Evil Cousin/King is not only smart and calculating but willing to go all in, because that makes for a more interesting villian. If Se Gye wants to defeat him he needs to do the same.
Seori calling him a lone wolf was spot on, he learned growing up to only look out for himself because others aren't to be trusted, and he almost seems to treat being disliked and contrary as proof of this worldview rather than a cause of it, and will lean in when people push back against him. Like when Seori asked why he was getting so mad at her he got even more mad, when she said he must feel guilty he said he felt no guilt at all
I am actually afraid that Kang Danshim's soul might travel back to the Joseon era. She was so happy to see the…
I don't think they will go this route because the show has been really good about foreshadowing, and there haven't been any moments where SSR has made any sort of appearance as if she is still alive in any way. The very most is that Danshim was drawn to that old movie she starred it, which felt more like an echo of SSR's soul than the actual SSR in any way.
My theory is SSR had planned to commit suicide, so danshim taking her body wasn't stealing it because she would have been dead anyway, and instead is a way for SSR to also live on in some way, still.
The pain and heartache Danshim suffered in the past and overcoming that with a new chance at life is a major theme of the show, so it would really undermine that for her to suddenly go back and right all the wrongs of the past. The show made a point to say the past is the past, and this new life is what Danshim needs to cherish and make the most of.
She rejected him! Twice! He's not the type to cherish a keepsake from a woman who rejected him. That one's easy.…
Nah he's just trying to keep a shred of his dignity by being very loud about it all. Judge him by what he does, not what he says. He followed the woman to Jeju, stayed all day at her photo shoot, ran after her when she got lost in the woods, kept her company all night when she was drunk. This man is not trying to avoid her in the slightest.
Mls who are so sure about their women that they don't give a sh*t about what others will think will always be…
I felt like on the beach after the 3 seconds his look and body language when he got up to leave wasn't just from being disappointed she pulled away, but cause he knew even this wouldn't make him give up on her, like he knew he would try again and again
I felt all of Cha Se Gye's hopes and dreams poured into that one tiny wrist kiss, like if all he knew for sure was that her arm wanted him he would start there. The way he stared at her as he leaned in, half daring her to pull away half terrified she would, and the slight pause before he looked up as if he didn't want to know which way it had gone, but the second he looked up and saw her HE KNEW gyaaaah
Genuinely one of the most romantic yet also hottest k drama moments I've seen in a long time.
In every scene I sense that IJY and HNJ are having so much fun filming, like you can just tell they have really amazing energy on set together that brings out the best in each other. I had no idea this pairing would be this dynamite together!
Mun Do is already resorting to some pretty extreme tactics, it has me super worried for what he will do when he gets truly desperate. I am looking forward to when Se Gye finds out how much Mun Do has been manipulating and attacking him behind the scenes, because he will go absolutely nuclear at that point. Esp if it involves Seo Ri. SG can be scarily ruthless when needed. And when him and Seo Ri team up to take down Mun Do it is going to be so satisfying to watch.
I get the feeling Grandpa appreciates Mun Do but also in some way doesn't respect him, since he is always such a yes man. Despite how much he complains about his grandson, Gpa is more like Se Gye in that he likes people who challenge him and who are self-reliant, which is why he still has named SG as his heir and fusses over him so much.
I think the reason they are moving the romance forward so quickly is that they will start officially dating and then in the second half SG will regain his memories of being the past Grand Prince, and then him and Seo Ri will have to deal with whatever betrayal happened between them back then and resolve that. I much prefer that than there being some betrayal or angst between their characters in the current timeline.
Is an actor declining a role news? Why Park Ji Hoon? Famous actors decline roles every year and articles are not…
When a Korean production company issues a press release that an actor is considering a role it's because there has been an informal handshake or discussion behind the scenes and they feel confident enough to publicly mention it, and 99% of the time the person is cast. So if a popular actor then decides not to sign onto an interesting role in an anticipated show that is noteworthy.
Normally after the couple get together in a drama it starts to feel stale , but I love watching these two, they have such natural chemistry and just feel so right for each other. When Mechoori came in after the dinner feeling sad and she was there to give him a warm hug and support my heart felt so full and happy. They both deserve to be loved like this.
I def low key hate Ye Jin's mom, but then I also remember she did try and take the fall for Yejin before the fallout with the hush money. She just is so self focused she can't really see things from her daughter's side still. I would really love to see her publicly acknowledge Ye Jin, then I could feel happy about them re-establishing their relationship.
I love that we're back to the absurd comedy--Gwang Mo modeling the brown suit had me rolling. And I love every time Mechoori gets petty about Mr. Neighbor, and the two of them battling for the dad's attention. I don't mind the love triangle at this point because we've known for a while that Eric has ZERO chance with her, and it has given us some great comedy moments.
I think Chang Ho was the one who changed the materials and the one who is the host for Beauty Song is the one…
Ohhhh, you're right because we never actually heard the CEO who died say he was the one who had switched out the ingredients. UGH I HATE CHANG HO. I was so happy they'd all reconnected. Freaking snake. Can't wait for him to go down. with that b-- michelle.
It hurts my heart to see Kim Bum wasting his talent on this incredibly boring series.Actually, all the actors…
Idk.. I feel like another actor could have made Eric more interesting despite it all. I don't think it's only the writing unfortunately. I like Kim Bum but he seems to be phoning it in with this one.
