I just picked this up while waiting for Netflix to drop more episodes of Hospital Playlist. I love it! I tire of 20 something romances and brooding MLs. I wanted to see something light hearted and fun. I love the older actors. These ladies are hilarious! I can't believe they felt each other up! lol!!

Writers, of course, are trying to create the next popular drama and, if all goes well, make big bucks in the process. Unfortunately, they aren't always educated about that things they write about and may not care to. I do see how romanticizing people with obvious mental issues might be damaging and sending the wrong messages to younger viewers. I watched both these drama's and I agree that these characters' behaviors were not okay and shouldn't have been exploited for the sake of drama.

Well, being that I liked the drama and had questions, which fans have so graciously answered, it has helped me understand why some things were done the way they were.

Thanks for that information. I had no idea he had a no kiss clause in his contract.

Let's make a thread of unfulfilled wishes! Things you wanted to be in TLB, things you imagined beforehand, things…
The one thing I wish I could change is allowing us to see more tender moments between Ashile Sun and Changge. I felt dissatisfied with the blurring out of their Aha moment after so many episodes of that slow burn romance. I loved the slow burn and was so patient with them, but I wanted to be rewarded with a scene like Yehua and Bai Qian when he pins her up against the wall and takes her lower lip with him. This brings me to wonder why the production blurred out the scene? Is it a censorship issue, where there are certain codes that must be followed, or were the actors uncomfortable with the romantic scenes, taking into account Wu Lei's age?

So I finally made it to the halfway mark and I’m loving every minute of this. It had been a while since I had been caught up in a great C-drama, and I’m happy to say I chose well. The MLS make me swoon! Can’t wait for the second half to see what happens next!

Plot holes and some implausible moments notwithstanding, I am enjoying this more than I thought I would. Love the OST.

Title The Guest Spoiler
I was so sure it was Father Yang....guess i was wrong
Yes, that was some twist. It also made it even creepier to think Yoon Hwa-Pyung was living with his bitter enemy all along.

Is this really good? And also does this drama mostly revolves around the FL as I don't want that because I don't…
Yes, it's very good and, no, the drama doesn't not revolve around the FL. The drama revolves around a young man whose past touches the lives of the other two leads. It's and ensemble piece where the main leads get an equal amount of time. Jung Eun Chao portrays the emotionally detached detective with the chip on her shoulder very well.

Dang! I can never watch more than one or two episodes per day because this show is very heavy and creepy. It has a real bite to it. Good performances and writing make this thriller an edge of your seat experience. I have watched 12 episodes and I love how the show keeps you guessing.

These episodes are really intense. I can only watch two at a time.

Well, I have watched 6 episodes and feel ready to drop this. Horrible writing, bad acting, and characters I don’t give a toss about. Why tease us with the mistresses’s scenes and not tell us who is who? What the hell kind of trash writing is this? The only thing nice about this drama are the kids and the OST.

Now, I'll be honest. I don't know whether or not, I will continue this drama tomorrow or next tomorrow, or even…
If memory serves me correctly, he apologies for the violence but refuses to kneel. Saeroyi knew the old man just wanted to humiliate him and he refuses to play ball. But some interesting things happen at the end which forces him to put that pride aside.

Idk why some peoples are hating yi seo....I want to know why?She is the one of the best character.Strong, independent…
I think it's because she has a very self-centered personality who zeroes in on what she wants and doesn't mind steamrolling over others to get it. As annoying and bratty as I found her in the beginning, I couldn't help but find her interesting. I kept wanting to understand her.

I have to say that manicmuse's review is the most fair I have read. I was set to review this show and describe its strengths and weaknesses, but don't feel the need since she was so eloquently able to express exactly how I felt about this show. It started out strong and I really liked Yi Seo even though she was crazy annoying. But I, too, felt the romance was forced and felt the natural way of things would have been continuing the romance that provided the most chemistry. I never once bought the idea of Yi Seo being into Park Saeroyi. For someone as vibrant and self-involved as Yi Seo, I would think she would have found him old and boring. She had some wonderful layers at the beginning and I couldn't tell if I disliked her or not because she was so interesting. I would have thought her relationship with Saeroyi as being more of a big brother who would teach her how to take charge without steamrolling over people. Instead, they seemed to meet in the middle. She became more compassionate while he, less so. I also didn't care for her sexually harassing him in the workplace because he couldn't return her feelings at the time. The soundtrack slays!

I loved this. Drama have that emotional connection that we don't find in western dramas. When is second season…
You might like the TV series LOST. It's a western drama of airline flight passengers that crash land on a remote island. Creepy things start happening on the island and there is a lot of back story and character growth for the main leads. It is from the 1990's, so very similar to the situations of Sweet Home.

So, I just watched the first 6 episodes and it started off well enough, but now I'm wondering what happened? The show is starting to drag and the FL just spends her days napping. I don't really understand why she wants to stay away from the ML. I suppose it's because they are from different socio-economic classes. It's starting to resemble Meteor Garden (Chinese version). I wonder if I might have to drop it soon?

Well said. It's their experience that glues you to the screen. You can't look away. There is an inner monologue within them that is not present in many of their younger counterparts. I always look for that. You can literally see the wheels turning. I was an acting major in college and our professors called that inner monologue being truly alive in your role. Mind you, I have seen a few very talented younger actors pull this off, but it's uncommon. The younger ones just need to learn their craft better. This is why I can see a stark difference in the ML of The General's Lady and a seasoned actor like Chen Kun. There is no comparison in terms of experience and depth. TROP was my first foray into Asian dramas. It is still my favorite. Excellent script and talented actors made it a joy to watch. Who could not love NiNi? Then 3L3WTMPB came along and I fell in love with Mark Chao and Yang Mi as Yehua and Bai Qian. Two actors also in their 30s playing teenaged characters, so to speak. When they are that good, they are completely believable and can make you forget they are older actors and only see the character. To answer the question of why they take these roles, naturally they are drawn to a good script with well developed roles to play.
