I am 9 episodes in and if I was the female lead I would tell the male lead to get lost. All he does is put her…
I am watching this on Viki and they only have about 21 episodes uploaded. It does get better. Even though things are sad at the moment, they are both trying to handle their relationship like adults. If you can get past the blatant advertising of brands, it gets decent. So, far I might give it a 3 out of 5 star review, but their is about half still left to watch.

What I find most annoying besides QingQing, is the fact they always have on full make up in bed and wake up in…
Lol! Very true, but perhaps they are pandering to their makeup advertisers? Seems like brands is what this show is heavy on. ?

That ringtone is killing me! It's all about the dang brand! It interrupts the flow of the drama just long enough…
I’m sure the cast might even wear certain brands. Look at Johnny Huang, for example, here wears a variety of clothing, even casual stuff to the office. Being the a president obviously grants you some freedom to dress as you please, but there is always the example to be set for looking professional. He strikes me as that so when he wears graphic sweatshirts and sneakers to the office, I wonder whether he is sporting yet another brand for the advertisers. They should really try to do less advertising and focusing on the integrity of the programming. Shows should be about entertaining through telling a story and not pandering brands to an audience that wants to watch their favorite actors. If I want to shop, I’ll go to the store or visit the internet, I don’t need it inside a show. It’s too distracting.

I suppose the way TV dramas are sponsored in China is very different than in the USA. Here, companies buy advertising time during commercial breaks so advertising during the drama is not allowed. All props with brand logos are covered so only the paying advertising is showcased n during commercial breaks. That keeps the advertisers out of the show so as not to distract the audience.

Title Love Designer Spoiler
QQ is starting to get on my nerves. what was funny and quirky in the beginning, is now getting frustrating and…
I think she likes to hold grudges and has had Song Lin on her crap list since he sued Zhou Fang. It's tiresome hearing her talk trash about him because he is doing his best.

Other than Qin Qing and that phone ringtone I found everything is acceptable. He always judge or bash her design…

Made it to episode 22. Oh, the angst! It's growing on me. Qin Qing is still annoying.

The main actor and actress caught my attention, but I started reading the synopsis and it sounded I was reading…
I think you bring up a good point about moving on to a better show if you don't particularly like something about the one you are currently watching. There seems to be a formula that these Chinese dramas follow and it gets boring and repetitive. I don't like when grown people act like 15 year olds, playing with each others feelings and breaking up just for the fun of it. There has to be a good reason. In general, there is a lot of mediocre dramas out there and we rely on reviews to help us sift through the muck. "I Hear You" is one I really liked because the MLs treated each other with respect once they fell in love. They were much younger than this cast yet more grown up when relating to each other. The best part: the ML respected his girl's desires to chase her dreams and lifted her up. It was a breath of fresh air.

Is this good? Can someone tell why should i watch this? Thank you.
I’m on episode 9 and the plot is slow and meandering. I don’t think I can take 45 episodes of this if it doesn’t pick up. I have dropped poorly constructed romance dramas before and this one might be next.

I think the most annoying character ever is ZF's mother.hahahhaha...
Yes, she is the epitome of the cliched pushy, nosy Chinese mother.

I have adopted this strategy whereby if a CDrama is coming out....I read the synopsis, genre, look at the cast,…
I agree. Breakups are warranted for real reasons. When a person is going into a relationship with the mind to break up after a few weeks, she isn’t serious about it. That is selfish and immature. People aren’t toys and our SL treats her boyfriend like this. He deserves better.

So far, this is not knocking my socks off. Not finding the ML swoon worthy and rolling my eyes at the SL playing hard to get. Why do ppl play games in love? If you like someone just say so and get on with it.

Yes, I read the novel and compared to the drama just didn’t cover many of the characters and circumstances added to the drama. I am glad they cast Wayne as Yan Chiwu. He did a great job.

I just read somewhere that there will be a third installment of the Ten Miles drama featuring Bai Zhen and Zhe Yan, but they will be recasting the role and giving it back to the original actor who played Bai Zhen! I really liked the original Zhe Yan but they will be casting a very young actor instead. Zhe Yan was older than Bai Zhen. Now he will be younger! Crazy! I don’t think I like that since he was supposedly an old suitor of Bai Zhen’s Mom. I wish the writing team would quit messing with the cannon.

As someone who hasn't read the book, is it better to watch Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and then this or does it…
I would watch Ten Miles first. It introduces you to characters that appear in the pillow book.

It’s weird, lots of people said that they prefer the external love, but why i prefer this one instead?
Because you like vanilla and I like chocolate. It’s a matter of taste.

IKR? I hated the recasts. Who in their right minds would ever believe a demon lord and an angel of Kunlun would ever be related? I loved Wayne’s bigger part in this, annoying as he was. I like him in all the roles he has had so far.
