Exactly. SYR's frailty is a lack of character. As guilt ridden as he is over his choices, he still chose not to protect his wife. Why do they make such a big deal about ages and kissing? Is the actor's innocence in jeopardy if he does a fake kissing scene with an older leading lady? What the heck? Aren't they professionals? I had to "kiss" my acting partners all the time and none of it was ever real. It's rehearsed just like everything else.

That is great news because it’s gone from Netflix, which was where I originally watched from.
They have definitely improved over the last couple of years. The subtitles feel much more sophisticated than they used to be. It's getting very close in quality to Netflix subtitles. I was starting to look for a blu-ray copy on eBay, but worried about it playing here in the US. Now with this Viki announcement, I can hold off for a bit.
