i mean not totally different characters tho. mainly the administrators of the game are different and overall the events too but not the main character like the friend group or the other school students like kei. but yeah the changes they made in the story are bad and cringe and the tomodachi game organization itself doesn't feel as grand ( probably a result of the low budget )
