it is tho when its in the premise that the ML will go to prison so you shouldn't expect romance from such a mystery thriller drama with no romance genre to begin with.
we will at most see some flashbacks of how they got married and their dynamic but if you are expecting the drama to be a full on or 50% romance i recommend you not watch this

I decided that I won't watch this until there is at least 12-14 eps since i feel like i will like it more as a binge watch T_T

I mean that the villains storyline in season 1 concluded and they won't appear again but the detectives are still the same so you won't get their relationship and any references as much and anyway season 1 was great so why not just finish it till this season begins

I loved the show but i was satisfied without the last 15 minutes or so and don't feel the need for more

so all that was a set up for a season two? they even left sun oh being alive for the very end for a season 2 ( and like what is even his role at this point after everyone all his enemies are gone ).
overall I don't know how i feel about this i just don't like the last 15 minutes of the episode and like yohan literally has a video of the Mok killing someone for god sake it feels so forced for him to take such a high position.

they never mentioned a twin dying just that their step father song got killed and the photo is just of the twin.
i think you just watched an early bad subtitles or misread

ikr? i don't know why he keeps getting roles and because he is type casted as a villain ( which like you said i guess they couldn't fit a sex offender into another role lmao ) its just so predictable whenever i see him in the cast i say to myself oh now i know who the villain is before the drama even started

i mean we know his first name is the same so why would he change only his last name as a pen name rather than changing his actual name so no i don't think so.
and its not like they have the same first name lmao there are a ton of people with the same last name so he wouldn't change his name " to be distinct " and they are close from what we saw

I don't think jisung lacks anything compared for the rest for the writer to kill one of the twins for convenience lmao and its obvious from the poster and trailers that both are important so even if one of them dies it will probably be near the very end

i haven't even seen a trailer for this but considering its 10 hour long eps i guess we will see more than the anime material from the manga.
