wow! I have not wanted to stay up all night watching a series in such a long time - but to catch up with this I want to so badly. The premise is so interesting, the acting is phenomenal and chemistry…. so so so good! It isn’t a perfect drama, but it’s the most I’ve enjoyed a drama in such a long time! Even though I know a lot of pain and darkness is coming.
I am so excited for this! After My School President and Only Boo being some of the best dramas in their respective years I am so sure that this new rookie drama is going to be incredible! AND this has a director and a Screenwriter that GMMTV truly believe in. I know GMMTV is trying to find a pairing in the next gen that achieve GeminiFourth level popularity- if one of the couples from Boys in Love even has justhalf the magic of their partnership, I’m going to be so happy!
I’m only one episode in, but I love it!!! I grew up in the Twilight era and so I was obsessed with all vampire media as a teen: Buffy, The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Being Human etc and this drama is such a perfect blend of all of those series and films which are now so nostalgic for me! You can see it’s taken inspo from so many of these legendary series and it’s making me love it so much. Even the terrible cgi feels nostalgic! I hope I continue to get so much fun and enjoyment from this series!
I actually really enjoyed this! Mame actually tried to do something different for once and I appreciate that. BossNouel have top notch chemistry and that was the only thing they had to rely on in ‘Love In The Air’ but I actually enjoyed the plot of this too. Also there were some really really pretty shots in this which can be rare for Mame series. And I will keep applauding episode 8 -really enjoyed how that was done. I might be in the minority but I’m a fan of this.
Some actors are better suited to dramas and some are better suited to comedy. I think EarthMix are good dramatic actors, but I don’t feel like their skills are the right fit for a comedy like this (I think a lot of GMMTV actors would struggle with this style of comedy). This isn’t the style of comedy I love so it was never going to be my favourite series, but EarthMix are still EarthMix and they still have moments of magic on screen.
I’ve really enjoyed both of MeMindY’s most recent series. For Love Sea I feel it started off really really strong, but the second half wasn’t quite as good as the first. Then with Boy Next World I feel it has been the opposite where it had a slightly rocky start, but every episode it gets better and better. I’ve enjoyed the entirety of both series, but they each have different stand out moments in their storylines for me. Also Mame, can we PLEASE get series that delve deeper into every single one of the parallel worlds, becuase some of those plots look sooo goood!
campy, fun and sexy - that’s always what this show has been open about being - just watch the pilot trailer again, that was even more campy. I think if fans want a darker and spookier series ReVamp might give you that. I just love that in 2025 we have vampire options!!!
this is officially my new comfort series. I love all these characters and how their stories intertwine. I’ve laughed and cried - I see myself rewatching this countless times when it’s done airing!
wow! a new bl in my top 5! that doesn’t happen very often. I love these boys! I just wish one of their series as these characters didn’t have an open ending!!
I love this I really really do! FirstKhao were incredible (as they always are) - I do admit it took me a while to get into KantBison, but once I was I was in deep. The big surprise for me was JoongDunk, I’ve always loved Joong, but this series made me really appreciate him and Dunk as a partnership - their chemistry at times was incredible. I know people will moan about Dunks acting, but I truly loved him as Style. I think Style might be one of my all time favourite GMMTV characters. That being said, I do think I enjoyed the first half more (up till they found out) I loved seeing Jojos take on ‘taming of the shrew’. That scene “Fadel, their snitches” - with the slowdancing and the single tear! That will be living rent free in my head forever - and I don’t feel like the series quite met that level ever again. I was okay with this loosing some of the darkness and going full campy-rom-com, due to gmmtvs influence, but that does make me worry for upcoming series - if GMMTV insists on making all of their series carry a similar tone how will they continue to grow - especially when you have talent like P’Jojo and P’Aof who are creative people that want to make things a little darker - I hope Ticket to Heaven won’t be turned into a cutesy school rom-com.
It's cause we barely saw them, My Moon (Punlee and Glaijai's story) is sooo good, but with no screentime as they…
I agree! because I loved Por’s character- probably my favourite in the whole series, but their romance in the series consisted of about 2 scenes so I didn’t get attached to them. I’m so grateful their romance will be the star of this series!
