I think this is my least favourite of this writers work, which is still better than the majority of BLs. I just spent the first half of the drama confused about what the leads felt for eachother, so I didn’t quite get where they stood with each other, I really liked them when they became a couple though, very sweet but also very natural. My other issue was that I love Alex and RJs dynamic, they had most of my favourite scenes, but they only had at most 1 scene a week and I kept waiting for them to had more because they’re on the poster, so I think the lack of them left me a little disappointed, but still good overall.
I’m obesssed! this is everything I wanted it to be and more - the leads chemistry is top notch and their feelings are growing so organically even though there’s this fantastical plot- loving the fantasy element too!
my face hurts from smiling so much. This series is officially my happy place. So far definitely my favourite GMMTV series of the year - I don’t know how I’m supposed to wait a whole week. it’s not just that l had low expectations and they were exceeded like what could have been the case for the first episode, my expectations each week are so so high now, but it’s still exceeding them!
why no 2023 series for him!? - what he’s doing with My School President is incredible- you can tell he’s learned from P’Aof how to make a beautiful series, but it still feels very different to a P’Aof project - he definitely has his own wonderful style! I want another full series from him in 2023 not just a single episode!
I just really want to know how many episodes these will all be - my guess was always 3-4, but I’d love to know for certain so I can mentally prepare myself!
someone said there’s a chance that like Blueming this will be dropping all at once - if that’s true I won’t be able to handle it, but also please give all the episodes to me now!
I know this is coming out before Middleman’s Love because of filming. Does that mean that they’re changing the story of Middleman’s love or that it will be treated as prequel? because Middleman’s Love is all about Jade thinking his love interest is in love with Uea instead of him, right?
I didn’t even realise Frank had left GMMTV - I thought he was coming back after a year of being in the military. it’s a shame that we won’t get anymore FrankDrake series because I loved their chemistry and friendship in real life, but they hadn’t given Frank a big role in years.
I tried so hard but I actually think I have to drop this - I didn’t like Achi is the 3rd story and I’ve watched 5mins but nothing about this final story is making me want to give this a go. I really thought I’d push through and be able to finish this! My Review: 1st story - incredible - give BillySeng a darker full length BL, in my opinion definitely some of the most talented actors currently in the BL industry - they killed this 2nd story - leads had great chemistry, but hated the managers and their pointless drama, got so boring quick even with all the the twists 3rd story - surprisingly fun, it was pure trash, but trash I enjoyed - I think I’m the only person who liked this though 4th story - unwatchable They should’ve given BillySeng the full 20 eps in my opinion
I’m obsessed with this. I was so prepared to dislike this, but it’s so good! I love the characters so much and I just can’t wait to spend more time with them and learn more about them as this series progresses!!!
yes, this series made me cry so much I actually broke a sweat! What an incredible drama though! BUT it was really unwise of me to watch Choco Milk Shake ep10 and then the final episode of this right after - im 100% dehydrated after crying for probably about an hour straight.
I'm guessing ep10 was the original ending, but due to the popularity Strongberry more recently shot an extra episode? Which is why it is airing 2 weeks after this. I'm not going to hope for a certain ending only to be disappointed when it doesn't happen, but I am going to hope for a little more happiness! I also just have to say in my opinion Jung Woo and Choco have the most natural chemistry of any KBL characters I've seen. They don't have "the best" chemistry of every KBL to me, just ridiculously natural and real chemistry - its in all their little moments - just wow!
Oh my goodness! I have to be honest, when I saw this in the 2022 announcements I wasn't at all excited to see ANOTHER school drama, and so I was certain this wouldn't be my thing. But I couldn't stop smiling from this episodes start to finish! The leads have such an adorable, innocent kind of chemistry. And its cheesy in the best way possible, its also just so wholesome, cute and funny, with seriously good music…and the friendships! It's gone from being one of my least anticipated to definitely being one of the best first episodes I've seen in a while! So excited for more!
something that i do really like about this that I wasn’t expecting is that I thought that Murai was going to be appearing like her fictional crush on purpose, but he actually resents that she at first only sees him as her crush and not the real him. I was worried that he was going to be changing his entire personality for her, but he literally just got a hair cut and continued to be himself. I like that. My favourite in this has to be Ryosuke - he’s just got such brilliant comic timing and his delivery always crack me up (it’s also just not fair that he make the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen with just a wig and some lipstick!!!) Anyway I’m enjoying this, it may be problematic, but I’m trying to ignore that because it’s funny and extremely cute!
I started this drama in love with the main couple, but I think they wrote themselves into a corner and had 2 lead characters that are in love with each other that they had to keep apart because the drama had 8/9 episodes left. So although I did lose a lot of the love I felt for the leads relationship I think the reality show plot came in at the perfect time for me - it was very unique and I had so much fun with those scenes. But the thing I will leave this drama remembering is obviously the second couple John Jang and Park Ji Wan. The best 2 characters got together! And they both seperately had the best arcs of the drama that made it all the more beautiful when they got together. Definitely my favourite side couple in a long long time. I think I enjoyed this drama a lot more than most - as soon as I got tired of an element something else came in that renewed my interest.
