I wasn’t into this after episode 1 - it took me 3 days to finish just that episode, but I still carried on and episode 3 changed everything and I ended up binging the rest in 1 day! I loved the entire cast in this! The leads were so adorable - once they started being all coupley I couldn’t help but squeal more than a few times - also has to be one of the healthiest and most mature relationships in a kdrama ever! The side couple didn’t work for me though - i loved their characters separately - their sismance and bromance were fantastic, but I’ve never liked the whole plot of being in love with someone just because of how hot they are. But this is a very fun and cute drama - definitely would recommend.
I loved season 1, but I can hardly remember what happened - and now they’re saying villains from season 1 are returning that I barely remember… I need like an hour long recap to fill in everything I’ve forgotten 😂
Having both Fluke and Thor in this, but not as a pairing should be a crime. Their chemistry in The Warp Effect is actually INSANE! I’m sure Ohm will win me over but I’m still excited for the potential of more ThorFluke as even just friends.
Yeah and the best thing is that it's a slow burn romance. I'm tired of the "love on first sight" trope in sageuks.
YES! Love at first sight is the number one thing that has made me drop so many sageuks. But here the anger in Yi Hwans eyes when he looks at her is such a breath of fresh air that shows this slow burn will take a while to get going!
nothings happening with him and his military service right? I know they said they were re-examining and then prosecuting celebrities that had lied about the severity of their epilepsy. And Chae Jong Hyeop is one of the few artists that has recently said he’s currently exempt due to his epilepsy. He’s one of my newer favourites so I really hope nothing happens.
I really wanted the long triangle to end up with the 2 boys being besties considering Hae Yi doesn’t seem that interested in either of them and in ep9 my hopes were answered - that is one adorable bromance they’re building there!
these leads are pure MAGIC on screen together! The interrogation scene and the final scene in episode 2 were so incredibly well acted - I was so blown away, they’re such intriguing characters, and they also already have this amazing chemistry, I can’t wait to see how their relationship with develop throughout this drama. I’m already obsessed and a little in love with this!
I never watch second seasons of anything’s, but for some reason I could resist giving this a go and I have zero regrets! I actually missed their ridiculously messy, but also ridiculously cute relationship. so happy it seems like we are getting Kiyoi’s POV next week!
I actually really liked JunQ’s performance in this,I felt he brought a really beautiful vulnerability to this character. I’d love to see him in some more dramas.
this is such an amazing drama, but I think they’ve done a bit of a misstep with the lead couple - since episode 1 there’s been barely any development - currently they’ve both spent far more time showing Alex’s development with Kat and Jeans development with Tony that I feel they should almost be their love interests - and we could’ve ended the series with Alex and Kats conversation in episode 9. I do think New and Fah have chemistry with everyone including each other and I would’ve liked to see them spend more screen time together, but I also don’t really feel it’s necessary especially this late into the drama. As I said love and am obsessed with this series - I just feel that’s the only part that just isn’t really working for me. But who knows maybe when this is over I’ll love Alex and Jean!
I love Becky and Freen here - they’re brilliant actresses doing brilliant performances, but I feel like the plot of this is so slow. I think if this was cut down to 10 episodes, 50mins each this would’ve been perfect to me.
I hope this isn’t going to be like ‘When Love Blooms’ where we spent almost the entirety of the drama wishing we were only spending time with the younger versions of the leads
Are we thinking this will follow My School President? It’s a really hard series to follow - it’s so many peoples new favourite - mine too. But this does have a talented director and Gawin! I’m really hoping it’ll be good - and may even help with the pain of MSP ending *sobs*
This feels like a huge thing for Bae In Hyun to be starring with Lee Se Young! He was the king of web dramas over the course of lockdown and it’s so cool to see how he’s grown in popularity since then - him and Lee Se Young re going to be such a beautiful and talented pairing!
this series has such a special place in my heart - it’s just overflowing with so much charm and heart. I can’t believe this is from the director of 2Gether - 2Gether had such a generic look to it where as this was so unique and full of personality. Its full of such a beautiful and weird cast of characters and we get to explore all of their different relationships throughout the series and it made me love it even more! This is so different from any BL I’ve seen before, even with the locations! I loved spending so much of the series at temples, it gave it such a unique look and feel. I definitely won’t forget Thi and Noeys bizzare, hilarious and beautiful story for a long time!
