I’m OBSESSED with this. it’s obviously not the most groundbreaking story, (but we already knew from watching the mini series) but it’s so addictive. Mark and Vees chemistry has grown way stronger, Yin is no longer way out-acted by War, his acting has improved immensely AND this is shot so so beautifully(the lighting is making me loose my mind)! I’m really not a fan of this directors work, I never tended to like the lead couples in his dramas and also the colouring of his dramas is always so cold and sterile, but this one is overflowing with warmth and rich colours, which will be such a bonus for this emotional story! I’m just so excited about this now, it went from being the most average mini series to this full length series that Im loving! hopefully it keeps up this high level, because this might be the perfect cure for me when KinnPorsche ends!
I’m not a big BTS fan, I don’t dislike them, I just don’t know much about them or their music, but im such a big Seo Ji Hoon fan, he was my favourite dramaland actor a couple years back, but he’s done nothing for years! I need this to come out quick.
I’m actually having quite a lot of fun with this! it’s nothing new or groundbreaking, but if you want something fluffy and silly this would probably work for you! I have rolled my eyes more than once at the cliches, even the ones the drama includes just to make fun of. But I am the biggest fan of the fake dating trope, even more when you make them enemies to lovers! So I quite like the main couple, I like that they genuinely cannot stand each other, they are so different but the chemistry is really good and I’m excited to see them actually fall in love. But currently my favourite couple in the series is Park and Lee (I’m surprised they’re my favourite so far because I never like pre-established realationships but), I love their dynamic and extremely natural chemistry, it’s believable they’ve been together for a while. I’m not into the other couple, but 2/3 is pretty good. Anyway this series isn’t special but if you want ridiculous, cute fluff this might be for you! I forgot to mention the side side couple, I am also liking them, but I don’t see them getting too much screen time, anyway it’s another trope I love best friends-lovers!
If you scroll back in the comments to 2 months ago you can see how annoyed I was that they announced that this season would be about a love triangle, but I have to say I was completely 100% wrong! This wasnt about 2 guys fighting over a girl it was really about 3 people who came to love each other and it was so beautiful. The line that encapsulates this season was “I know I wasn’t chosen, but I’m so happy two people I love will be spending time together.” - obviously it’s a spoiler to say who said that. Over the course of the series we just learned how beautiful these 3 people are, but anyway I’m so sad I’ve finished another season of Future Diary and like last time I’m ridiculously dehydrated from all the tears!!!
I feel like I'm betraying all of my fellow introverts by rooting for Aki a tiny bit more than Koyo, Aki's just too adorable. But I also love Koyo and want him to end up with her…ugh! I mainly just want Aki and Koyo to be best friends anyway!
I have faith that Ahn Hyo Seop will do a good job as the ml in the Someday or One Day Korean remake, but I still can’t get over how that role was made for Lee Do Hyun! He could have really covered all sides and ages of that character from the silly over energetic teen to the broken and hurt man almost reaching 40years old. Oh well! It will just have to remain a dream for me!
It's actually cruel that this and KinnPorsche end on the same weekend - the 2 most anticipated BLs of the year end within 24hrs of each other.... WHY!?
Half of me just thinks this is unnecessary, but the other half is obsessed with how good this cast is…SWDBS was my first ever kdrama so I feel like I’m gonna have to watch this!
I'm finally excited for a season 2. In thai BLs the s2 drama is always a cheating plot/love triangle introduction and I HATE those. So happy this is about them falling in love even more! The only season 2 I've been excited for other than WBL which was great!
Pretty sure since this is Jojos last work of 2022 this will be out in 2023 instead - Jojos got like 5 gmmtv projects this year! Why is it always the ones I’m most excited for that get released last - same thing happened with Not Me last year!
Kira Yuki was one of the leads in the webseries His, which is one of my favourite BLs! I can't believe we are going to see him pining for his friend again!!!
I don't know why I'm not enjoying this! I really wanted to like this but I've tried till ep7 and I'm just not feeling it. I loved Shi Cheng Hao in MODC and was so excited he had his leading role but personally their chemistry isn't working for me. I also wasn't the biggest fan of this directors last BL work (even though it started out incredible) so maybe he just isn't for me. Hope everyone else continues enjoying this though!
It’s just so unfair that this series is actually better than all our extremely high expectations. I just can’t believe we all waited for over a year and we’ve been given this masterpiece! I kind of wish it wasn’t as good as it is because I can’t deal with it. I just have no words…it’s so unbelievably perfect!
I'll accept them getting together early so that they can break up early on and then get back together by the end - I won't have this not ending up together trend kdramas have been doing recently.
Just realised Jae Hyun and Yoo Nas actors were the stars of the rom com web drama Be My Boyfriend! It’s an average fake dating plot but their chemistry was so cute in that. Happy to see them sharing the screen again and with similar character personalities!
I'm so delighted by this (I'm only 2 episodes in currently) but it was so hard not to watch this all night! It's so much fun and genuinely funny (I've even laughed out loud a few times) and personally I'm surprised by how good the leads chemistry seems. I'm actually liking the ML too, which I didn't expect considering how much I disliked him in the only project of his I'd seen previously. Easy to watch fun dramas like this are why I became a kdrama fan! This is hitting all the tropes I love and it's been so long since I've wanted to binge a drama all night.
