After the rating went way down suddenly I was worried that the second episode was bad, but OH MY GOODNESS the second episode was even better! I'm officially obsessed with this drama and I've not been obsessed with a drama in ages. The comedy is brilliant, the graphics are a really fun addition, the leads have great romantic chemistry, everyone is gorgeous and some of my all time dramaland faves and the friendships are ending up becoming one of the most enjoyable parts for me! I'm desperate for more!
This is so much fun to watch! It's been so long since I've watched a rom com and this seems to have everything I love about them. Kim Se Jeong is clearly really enjoying this role and I love that the director is making this so visually unique! I'm in love!!!
Yeah so I'm full on trash for this series now. I was so not getting it, but these last 2/3 episodes have been incredible. The couples are all working and making me emotional. Thorn is officially my child, Vee needs protection and Saen is just too cute.
This is silly, funny and sweet. It's not gonna be the best bl you've ever seen but probably won't end up being the worst! Really enjoyed the first 2 episodes.
I always enjoy before the couples get together in series way more than I do when they're actually together. But surprisingly I'm enjoying Tupfah and thorn now they're together way way more. I really wasn't so keen on them the first 2 or 3 episodes, but I love them so much now. So adorable!
They're making one of my favourite kdramas into a cdrama!? This will either be the worst thing ever or my new favourite thing. I was really impressed with Connor Leong in Definitely Not Today - so I'm hopeful!
I didn't love this as much as I wanted to love it (my expectations were unrealistically high) but still this was very very good. Really unique and creative. So much respect for the team behind this.
I wasn't a big fan of Why R U other than Saifah and Zons storyline, Fighter and Tutor just didn't work for me personally and Dew and Blue were 100% not my thing. So I had no expectations but decided to give this a go because it's all the buzz in the bl community at the moment...and oh my goodness this is so much fun. I'm really into Kuea as a lead, he's such a great character and I'm so in love with the set up of the story as well as the potential chemistry and production quality - it wasn't at all what I was expecting after reading the synopsis, but it's even better. My expectations have gone from zero to 100 I'm so excited to see what's to come.
This first episode was so good! It's so kdrama-ish. Kbls always have felt so different from full length kdramas for different reasons whether it be their tone, how they're shot or the characters. But this feels like such a typical kdrama rom com, we've got the little bit of magic, the lead is the archetypal male lead from the mid 2010s and it is shot like one too. And all these things are good things! It's so refreshing to see something that you're so used to it's that it's become comforting but now it happens to be a bl. And to think I almost didn't start it because of the low rating!!!
I mean I like enemy to lovers so this is great for me (and i like the webtoon) but I don’t get why people are…
Exactly. Like in a regular degree in Korea you need a total of around 160 points and missing that project made him 2 points short of graduating. So yeah it's his fault, but he's angry. He also does decide to move on and get over it, but then he meets Sangwoo and takes an instant dislike to him because he's so cold and they're complete opposites, but also he just wants to ruffle his feathers. So it becomes less about "hatred" and more about intrigue over this robotic person he doesn't understand. But that could be because I'm a fan of the manhwa and it's a lot easier to spell out so many inner thoughts in manhwa form.
I would've liked this so much more if they stuck to the plot they set up at the beginning and that alone. It would've been so much better if they took their time and had the vampire trying to make the "pure blood" fall in love with him over the majority of the series. Rather than having the human fall in love with him by episode 2. It would've been nice to see them spend more time together so they could fall in love and then it would make sense that the vampire starts to reciprocate those feelings and then choose death over hurting him. And the "drama" of the series could just be that the "pure blood" finds out he's a vampire and was only using him for his blood, but the vampire has genuine feelings for him now. Cliched but enjoyable. If they took their time with that plot it would've been so much better and not rushed over the 8 episodes, but they're trying to do too much like with the evil brother and that lady, it all feels unnecessary- do that in a second series!!!
I'm a big Dome and Vee fan...guess that makes me problematic. But sometimes I just want to ship a ship that are seriously messy and should never be together. Every now and then I want a lot heartache and pain in my series!
This is the only manhwa I’ve ever been up to date with! I just scrolled through all the comments and realised that I commented over a year ago freaking out over how much I was loving the manhwa and how exited I was for this adaptation! I can’t believe it airs actually tomorrow after a year of waiting! (Also I had no idea people were upset with the casting, I think these 2 are perfect - the teasers scream the perfect embodiment of their manhwa characters)
Watching the most recent episode I was felt so protective over White from Black, and I was also thinking of how I'm going to miss white being a part of the gang. And then it fully hit me how incredible Guns performance is here. I've been a big fan of him for years but the fact he's made me want to protect a character he's playing from another character he's playing and that I'm going to miss a character he's playing because he's being replaced by a different character he's also playing...gun you're incredible.
Im behind and now trying to catch up and I feel like I missed something in the first 2 episodes. I thought Thorn didn't make it into the National youth team because of that corrupt coach, but in episode 3 they're saying he is in the National youth team?
The great thing about this film was how informative it is on the subject matter. I knew barely anything about bdsm but I felt like this was a very respectful and honest look at the topic and in a Korean romcom of all things! Im so delightfully surprised! I’ve been a fan of Juns appearances in dramas for a while now, but Ive only really seen him play self obsessed grumpy characters, so it was such a nice change to see him in this play such a sweet, endearing little sunshine!
