I decided to watch this in a different order. I watched it 1-2, then 6-7 and then ended it with 3-5. That way the stories get progressively better in my opinion. Still annoyed at the ending of episode 7, that story could've been so cute with a slightly different ending. But all that being said that doesn't matter because episodes 3-5 are brilliant.

I watched episodes 1 through 10 as they aired (which is rare for me with good dramas) but I still haven't seen the last 2 episodes! I don't want to let go of this drama or say goodbye to all these characters!

I was prepared for this to be dark, because it’s P’Jojo and he doesn’t do “cute” or “sweet” series, but then I heard he’s basing it on a studios lakorns from the 90s where the leads hardly ever make it out alive. So will I emotionally destroy myself by watching this and knowing it’s likely one or both of leads won’t make it out alive…yes! Who needs emotional stability!?

He’s always been a fantastic comedic actor, but he really surprised me in The Player. He had a small role but there’s a scene where he breaks down in tear and sobs and oh my goodness it was so real and raw and heartbreaking…he’s improving every year - giving him more roles!

Wait...why does this look so good!? I had really low expectations but this looks beautifully shot. I'm excited now, I really hope the story is as good as it is visually!

Yeah! For the first 2 weeks I liked it but I wasn’t in love with it but between episodes 3 and 4 something happened and I was completely obsessed and that obsession has only grown…the fact there’s only 2 weeks left it so devastating!

I remember back when after the first episode aired, I liked it but I wasn't obsessed. Fast forward 10 weeks and I'm constantly stalking the series on every social media platform, crying about fan theories and thinking about it every second of the day... I wish Bad Buddy wasn't as good as it is for the sake of my mental health, but I'm also so grateful that it's such a beautiful, incredible series.

I can't believe Kim Tae Ri is finally doing a romantic youth drama. I'm such a big fan and can't wait.

I just can't stop trying to say how good this is but not being able to find the words to express how good it really is. I never thought a university bl could be this incredible...this is gonna give me such a bad series hangover when it's over - even with Not Me to help with the pain.

When I watch Bad Buddy I think it’s the best and then when I watch Not Me I think that’s the best! Haha. It’s too hard for me to choose between the 2 - they’re also so different I can’t compare them - they’re just so so good. And they both bring something new to the genre - which is very exciting.

I forgot that mdl comment sections tend to be more negative than positive, so I'm going to drop a bit of positivity here! I'm loving this series! I'm really liking having the romance as a sweet side plot and having the focus be the political situation in Thailand and how it affects and shapes these characters. The acting is obviously fantastic, everyone's just killing it - Guns incredible, but Off has really surprised me with the layers he's bringing to Sean - he's such a hard, strong character on the outside but you can see underneath he's very sensitive and fragile. I get that this isn't for everyone with the politics but that's what I'm loving about this. I'm so tired of seeing the same cutesy school/university bl series - because of how BLs have improved recently university BLs have to be insanely good like Bad Buddy for me to keep watching - but Not Me and Bad Buddy are such a breath of fresh air for this market that's been oversaturated with average content for too long.

You know when you spend the majority of a drama falling in love with a character and then you get towards the end and you realise that character you chose to love meant choosing pain and depression...I chose so so wrong this drama.

JDY and Nana are going to make such a gorgeous couple and in a fantasy romcom! Also so happy that JDY will be back on our screens especially after he worked so hard on his last drama only for it to be pulled off air after 2 episodes. And the fact he even had to apologise for being a part of it.

JoJo is directing 4 series all meant to be coming out this year…when will the guy sleep?! He has Dirty Laundry, Mama Go go, The Warp Effect (which he’s also writing) and the. Never Let Me Go…most directors manage 1, maybe 2 a year. Anyway I know he’s shooting Mama GoGo currently but I hope this is next - it’s my most anticipated of 2022!

Just noticed Arin is one of the top listed cast. I don't know much about kpop but I loved her performance in The World of My 17. A very underrated webseries and she was so good in it. Even more excited now.

I've wanted Lee Do Hyun to do a cute, happy romance for so long and I'm so glad he is even though it's a short form drama and an ad I'll take what I can get!

I'm obviously joking but I'm so lost as to why people aren't obsessed with this it's incredible!

The lack of love and respect this series is getting is frankly homophobic...

I love romance in my dramas and I've seen PJY and SYE have incredible (even some of the best) chemistry with their romantic interests in different dramas, but for some reason in this I feel zero chemistry - I don't understand why! I'm enjoying this drama but the romance is so unnecessary to me - and that coming from a big romance fan.
