What is the drama!?!?! I'm 1 episode in and my mind is completely blown - I'm sat here with my mouth hanging wide open in shock! I love this already! My first Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Kang Woo drama and I can already see why they are so famous - they are fantastic in these roles - Yeo Jin Goo had me crying 20 mins in! Also a shallow comment to make but everyone in this drama is gorgeous Lee Gi Kwang in particular is *fans self*

So I've been stalling on watching the final 2 episodes since they aired - I've seen the spoilers I know I'm gonna hate the ending, but I did not watch 14 episodes to not make it through the final 2 - I wish I'd held off on watching it as it aired and then if I'd known it'd end like this I wouldn't have spent so much time on it! Ugh!

I Told Sunset About You is amazing - best ever in my opinion, everyone's lost their mind about it recently - Where Your Eyes Linger is a short and sweet Korean one. Cherry Magic is currently airing and the best Japanese one - it's so cute! 2Gether was a really popular Thai one this year. Also if you liked Why r u and UWMA I'd give Love By Chance a go it's got the same director and some actors but it's more popular (don't watch the second season though) and in my opinion the best Taiwanese series (and until this year my all time favourite) has to be HIStory2: Crossing the Line - also very popular.

The change in the algorithm has really thrown me off - I’m trying to compute how much my favourite dramas scores have changed but this is definitely the most shocking one!

I had issues with the Dean and Pharm in UWMA - I love emotional series but after a while it was too much crying for me! I liked the second couple they were a little lighter, which is why I’m sad I’ve lost hope for Between Us. I was initially very excited because Wabi Sabi tend to release above average content, but I don’t think this will be.

Haha! I don’t think it’s an actual rule, but a while back people were saying how they’d noticed that all GMMTV series made for younger viewers (straight dramas included) had 3 kiss scenes or less and that started this “3 kiss rule” discussion. But there are a lot of examples - Theory of Love, Cause You’re My Boy, Puppy Honey, 2Gether etc - I think one that broke that rule was Dark Blue Kiss which had I think 4 but that had 2 main couples and overall slightly more mature content. So it’s not a real rule but those series do go out of their way to include 3 or less. It’s very strange!

Someone needs to update this! It will not be MODC pt 2 - it will also be a completely different cast! It’ll be called History4: Close to You and it’ll be about a man who works at a wedding company who is pursuing his first love, but she isn’t paying him any attention and so to get her attention he enters a fake relationship with this rich guy and through this fake relationship they end up falling far each other - also the side couple are step brothers one a doctor and the other in the wedding company - so it is a step backwards for the History series - our lead female character is a fujoshi (uugghh) and the side couple are step brothers (again?! What’s this weird obsession they have with stepbrothers) - I got all this from stebeee on tumblr, they did a full synopsis translation over there this is just a short summary!

I'm just gonna put out here that I think the 2 WeTV bls that have been released so far have been some of the worst series in a while. I know that the classic GMMTV bls aren't all great and have their strict "3 kiss rule" but they are at least much better quality than A Chance to Love and My Gear and Your Gown. New was becoming a better and better director, but this series really doesn't seem to be a good reflection of the growth he's shown as a director - if anything it's a regression. I'm not saying that everything about these series is bad but I think they clearly lack funding - their budget must've been ridiculously low and they lack any creativity. It's like they were made for the least amount of money and were told to churn them out as quickly as possible. And that's just not good enough when you look at the lgbt projects coming out throughout Asia - you've got I Told Sunset About You, Cherry Magic and Gaya Sa Pelikula which are all so different but made with a lot of love and care. It's just so strange that New is releasing projects with such a low quality and the only thing that's changed is WeTVs logo being slapped everywhere - so I wonder if WeTV is cutting the funding and asking for a quick turnout time. It makes me worried for Manner of Death and Between Us. Manner of Death seems a bit better funded since it's starring the return of the "fathers of bl" but I won't be keeping by hopes up for between us. This is just a theory but it's such a shocking change - I have to wonder what it is.

People have probably already spoken about this, but I missed the conversation. At the very beginning of the first episode when Adachi is trying to cycle up the hill and then speeds past himself on his bike, what’s everyone’s theories on it? Does everyone think that’s a scene from a pivotal moment in the last episode? Cause it looks like Adachi is running after someone... that someone’s gotta be Kurosawa right? What are peoples thoughts?
Or am I overthinking and it's nothing?

It's currently 5.46am - been so long since a dramas made me stay up all night! This is a truly special one! I have 2 episodes left and things are getting crazy!

Yeah - starting this drama was the best choice. I seriously love it! Only on episode 10, but love every single character in this, which is rare. My only issue is the food porn is ridiculously mouthwatering and therefore annoying. This drama is so funny too - my laughing I'm sure is starting to piss off my flat mates. Also I really like the 2 leads - I love that there's a cute bickering slow burn sprinkled into this drama - they have such great eating chemistry- didn't know that was a thing till this drama, but it is and it's wonderful. I don't know if I'll be able to watch Leats Eat 2 with a whole new cast - I like this cast too much!

Anyone else excited to see MD in this? Honestly Thara was my favourite part of My Engineer so I'm happy to see him in anything else!

MHIL really annoyed me because it was a drama I really enjoyed at the beginning. Whilst it still had flaws I was really into it. But after Muey and Thien go on that day trip the drama started to make no sense and it drove me up the wall. I became so annoyed with it. Also that’s when Muey seems to have a character transplant and turns into a different person and I kind of hated the person she turned into - I fast forwarded through a lot of the last episode because I just wanted it to be over after 20 hours. It’s a shame - because that day trip episode in particular was beautiful.

His character Kim Yoo Shin is so adorable which makes me pretty sure he's Har Ley. I hope I'm wrong but I'm also pretty certain it's him. The fact he's known her so long and he would obviously follow So Hyun since he's in love with her. It's always the sweetest character that ends up being the "bad guy" - we all just know it's definitely not So Hyun

I know this drama has pretty mixed reviews but I kind of love it. I'm hooked! You can also see that the director carried over the Extraordinary You directing style to this which is fun. Also I've never seen Choi Byung Chan before this drama and he is just the cutest little thing in the world.

Felt it lagged a little when the second male lead joined the drama. He's not my favourite character, but it picks up again at episode 16 and now I'm obsessed again!
