Episode 6 is another emotional roller coaster. Jiang Long and whoever the actor is who played Chen Xiao were fantastic. And Bi Wen Jun is so good at breaking your heart isn't he?

omg Liu Chang looks so damn fine in that black shirt/pants green vest combo! And is that his voice, or is someone dubbing for him? Like smooth smoky whiskey. But he's kinda giving off bad guy vibes.

I think if you can objectively watch the BTS videos of the stunts that Leo Luo performs you have to say no, he is not 'unhealthy/sick/drunk/etc all the BS that is being spouted here'. He is an amazingly fit individual who can do those kick-ass stunts, including sword play and choreography and wire-work, with ease. He also happens to have a dancer's body, which isn't big and bulky with lots of bulging muscles, but slim and strong. Damn, the man is really fine just the way he is.

Of course, I wish at least one episode they would have him with his hair down. 😉

Episode 5, whoa. I take back what I said in my previous comments. I went from absolutely disliking Cheng Xiaoshi and hoping he would be killed off early to omg, why am I crying? That was one hell of an episode, bad subs and all. Not complaining about the subs, no! I am happy to have them, really.

And then to have 'Liu Sang' from Reunion: The Sound of Providence show up! 💖I love Liu Chang, he's a special form of lovely to me. 🤩 And then the song starts playing at the end and well, damn, this is getting really really good. It does stick to the anime story-wise pretty well (except episode 1) , notwithstanding gender changes and whatnot. Can't wait for the next episode.

First episode done. Seems promising. I do love the history lesson at the end!

This series keeps getting better and better! Except the episodes are too short and always stop at exactly the wrong moment! We go from 'I want to protect you' to 'I want to watch you shapeshift' to 'sleep with me' and then.........scene! 😭 What a terrible time to stop. I can't wait until tomorrow.

Up to episode 12 and I'm just loving this. I have seen a lot of posts saying this is slow/boring, there is no story, there is no chemistry between the leads, blah blah blah. I must be watching a different series than you because this is great! I've been hooked from the opening credits of episode 1.

Of course, Leo Luo would have great chemistry with that potted plant over there in the corner. The little sideways glance/smile he does sends shivers! Song Yi's character is so fun to watch. Also, I have a very low tolerance for high-pitched toddler voices in FLs and she doesn't give that vibe at all. She is a kick-ass FL who also shows emotions. Can't wait to see how their story unfolds.

I will say I am detesting the sister and the over-the-top angry bird general dude. They better have some character growth soon or I'll be fast forwarding over all their scenes.
