I am still wondering what’s the significant of the mask. And his character just seems hot headed and impulsive,…
oops, yeah, sister in law. ok, it's making more sense, seems like he had a thing for his sister in law then, otherwise why would he be so unhinged! Yep, totally silly man for his position lol
Xiaoshi is kinda like this in donghua too, he is ultra empathetic and comes across impulsive when wanting to do…
😂ok, you've convinced me! I just love the story despite him, but if that is the way he's written, and it's for a reason, then I will go for it and keep watching. Cause LG....💖

I hope you're right! It seems he keeps getting in the way of the investigation on purpose to derail it, and it was his sister who was the smuggler who ended up killing herself, right? And the way he and Cao were exchanging smirks sure made it seem like he was in on it. I would love to be wrong!

Exactly! What's up with the mask, and why is he being such a dick? I think he is also involved in the drug smuggling business, or at least he is helping the drug smugglers. So unless he is doing that in order to catch the bad guys, that means he's a bad guy himself? I hope he doesn't end up being the bad guy. 😢
Great article! I call these short series the Harlequin Romance of c-dramas. Short, easy to watch. I'm glad you included Stand by Me. I adore that series and it hasn't gotten enough love. Please watch it! Also, add anything with Richard Li or Yan Zi Xian to the list. Both of these guys are awesome in the series they have done. And damn, they know how to kiss 💋
You would, but most of the details is handmade 🤓, you'll need finger transplant surgery by the time you finish…
And there is a series I would love to watch! Call it 'Behind the Magic'. All the artists/artisans/craftsmen behind these c-dramas. I've seen little bits of clips some series releases showing close-ups of embroidery and such but wouldn't it be great to show in depth these talented people who are literally working their fingers to the bone? I want to watch how someone goes from concept to final construction, of like, say that blue dress I love so much!
Since I'm in the middle of long string of 90+ degree weather here I've decided to cool down by rewatching Amidst a Snowstorm of Love. All of that snow and cold weather on screen might make me feel cooler in real life? ❄️
Yep, I'm loving this series so far! The ML and FL are both doing a fantastic job. From the previews I can't wait to see what's coming up. Also, would it be asking too much for them to have at least one scene with the ML's hair down? I would love to see that. 🤞
BTW, I love the blue dress the FL is wearing in episode 8. I want to own that myself! (Ooh, there's an idea for a business, selling replicas of costumes worn in historical dramas. Between the outfits and accessories I'll bet you would make a fortune!)
Up to episode 4. This is a pretty interesting show with a great concept, but the character Cheng Xiao Shi is really starting to irritate the hell out of me. Please let there be some character growth here, cause I'm not sure if the pretty face of Lu Guang is going to be enough to keep me watching!
First 6 episodes were fantastic! I must say, Leo Lou is enchanting. That smile of his, oh my. 💖And Song Yi is the kind of FL I just love, strong and not whiny or toddler. The costumes/accessories are gorgeous and the locations are too. The action scenes are really well done and quite exciting. I saw a few BTS of some of the action bits and it's fun seeing how they turned out. And I love the chemistry between the 2 so far, and their physical comedy together is outstanding! It just seems like both of them are having such a good time filming this. 😊
