I've realized that I have absolutely no expectations for this series. I will love this regardless of how good or bad it may be, just because it's Peat and Fort (with some upcoming Boss and Noeul to boot!). π They still have such amazing chemistry together, don't they?
I adored the first episode and it will be painful waiting a week in between each episode. Now, do I watch the episodes as they are released or wait for the series to be completed and then binge?
well darn, 38 minutes into episode 1 and the subtitles have disappeared. Watching on laptop using browser. Kinda difficult to watch without the subs.π
Episode 1. Ok, the cringe and camp are strong with this one, but there are some funny bits, whether intentionally or not. I do wish that Thai shows would stop with all the sound affects though. π
I saw someone posted a recent review so decided to watch this, again. This is such a sweet short drama. I want an Eddie of my own. Who wouldn't? He's so damn cute! They both are adorable.
I love all the people in the office too, their dynamics are great. And it's so funny how they all treat the CEO, it's a nice change from CEOs being jackasses!
This is one of my series I'll keep watching over and over, with a smile on my face.
Maybe rewatching this while watching the new Thai version is a bad idea, but I think this one is adorable and it looks like the new Thai one is going to be just as adorable.
The Japanese version has the typical over-the-top manic anime-like ML (Michieda Shunsuke) who does this type of character so well. Plus the stoic, handsome as hell and confused Meguro Ren. π
The Thai version has gemini/fourth so what can you say? I know I'll love it. So I think I will love both.
I absolutely adore the Japanese original, and I didn't think anyone could top Michieda Shunsuke and Meguro Ren for sheer cuteness, but damn, having another one of my favorite Thai BL 'couples', geminifourth, playing in this seems to be pretty darn near perfect. Fingers crossed we do Cinderella too!
The first couple of episodes in. Loving the FL. She is a gorgeous badass! The ML is frickin' irritating as hell and I kind of wish he would be shot by his own men at this stage π (Not the actor, the character. I loved the actor's character in Lovestruck in the City.) The show is not bad so far, though it does seem like it doesn't know whether it's a serious drama or a romcom.
Ok, big issue with episode 2. They take a huge kpop star, force him into the military, then take him out on a what is really a training mission but tell him it's real terrorism action and they are firing live ammo so of course he doesn't know anything and ends up getting shot. He actually thought he was really shot but it was blanks. Of course. How sick is that? Takes hazing to a whole new level. Then they leave him in the middle of nowhere after all of that. I mean, granted, the character is a coward and whiny and dang irritating, but....yeah, he needs to be shot by his own men π And I don't see how/why the FL would fall for that.
No damn it all, you can't cut there! I want to see all of the story now, please. This is so good. (except for the part where Joe is this awesome buff stunt man but keeps getting manhandled by everyone around him π)
Why is it taking so long to air this? πI came back here to check on the status and I see it's still ongoing with the next episode in 2 days? I'm waiting for it to complete so I can binge! π
I'm really sad to see so many trolls come out and slam this series, most of them saying about the same negative things. I don't really understand why people do this. Do you get paid to say negative things about certain actors, or do you dislike them for some reason? If you don't like it move on. Drop the series. If you need to say something about why you're dropping it go ahead. No need to stay on a page and constantly say how you think it's so terrible!
IMHO, the acting, costumes, sets, CGI, music, are all wonderful. I put this on hold because of the storyline, I couldn't stand the angst because of the way the ML is being treated by everyone. It's heartbreaking to see. So I'll blame the writers, or maybe the original author who came up with the story? I love happy endings and I don't see this having one. π’Once the series finishes airing I will finish watching it so I can get all the heartbreak over at once instead of spread out over weeks.
I tried watching this one a while ago and just couldn't get past the really bad wigs. πI decided to give it another try today cause I'm really tired of 'toddler' FLs and need a break from them. Dang, up to episode 6 and loving it so far! Even though the hair is bad the bromance and story are good.
The ML's character is great in this, sort of a more angsty version of the character he played in Guardian. The FL is just damn irritating most of the time. No idea why they always make the FLs speak toddler instead of grown adult. Cause when she speaks like an adult, which she does plenty of times in this series, she's a pretty cool FL. But then turns into whiny high-pitched toddler voice whose only talent is tripping over her own 2 feet and falling all over the place. And just when I really really hate her character she starts speaking adult and can fight. Just stick with the adult FL, please!
I have to say, after 23 episodes, the 2nd prince is definitely my favorite! There is something so deliciously psychotic and evil about him.π I can't wait to see what they end up doing with this character. I hope he sticks around for the entire 3 seasons!
I'm on episode 22 and I can say she has gotten even worse. So far, except for eating drumsticks on the sly, passing…
Yes! I have to keep putting this on hold until I get over the FL's actions, then I start watching again. I do love the story and the rest of the characters, and the ML is fantastic! I just really hate the way they have written the FL. I figure it will take me a few months to complete season 1 at this rate. π
I am really trying to get into this drama because everyone speaks so highly of itβ¦but the princessβ character…
I'm on episode 22 and I can say she has gotten even worse. So far, except for eating drumsticks on the sly, passing out at the drop of a hat, and betraying the ML, she has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I'm hoping somewhere in the next 24 episodes she has some sort of personal growth! π
I adored the first episode and it will be painful waiting a week in between each episode. Now, do I watch the episodes as they are released or wait for the series to be completed and then binge?
Who am I kidding, I'll do both π
I love all the people in the office too, their dynamics are great. And it's so funny how they all treat the CEO, it's a nice change from CEOs being jackasses!
