She is such a fun character! I love the way they describe her as White Mu Dai (white hat = good) and Black Mu Dai (black hat = bad). We've seen White now it's time for Black! 🤣
Episode 14. No one else seems to be mentioning this, but hells bells, if I found my husband out on a blind date trying to find a wife to replace me I would kill him too. And then to have to sit there and watch him with his new prospective wife all over him and in his lap. So her torture and killing of him, in my eyes, totally justifiable! 😮🤬

Episode 8. OMG, Chubby's conversation with himself! 🤣 Yep he is definitely the comic relief! I'm still waiting for the FL to switch into her dark mode. The trailers made it looks like she switched personalities back and forth all the time, like split personality. I am getting bit tired of the sweet innocent girl act and I'm ready for the dressed in black badass! And finally the gangs all here!

I think this pretty much nails it so far: The ML is smoldering hot and dresses like an action hero🥰 The FL is cute and adorable and such a bad ass! They dress her like Laura Croft!😘 The 2nd ML is definitely anti-hero comedy relief! I don't even know how to describe his look. Love his hair. His wardrobe is a really strange mix of Hanfu and modern but really attractive.😍 The 3rd ML is comic relief for sure and he and the 2nd ML have a real buddy thing going. He is called Chubby and he is. He dresses like a typical chubby little guy!🤡 2nd FL, too soon to say. Right now I'm not liking her personality, way to arrogant and bitchy. Hopefully now that the FL has saved her ass she will change her tune!

I am so stealing 'smoldering' as a description for SWL! It fits so well. I was trying to think of a way to describe his character and you nailed it! Smoldering with a touch of bad boy smirk.
What is it about someone bending in weird ways with sound affects of cracking and creaking and breaking that is just so damn terrifying! 😨 I tried a scene with the sound off and it looks like a guy going through a painful Pilates session! I've been in classes like that before. 🤣

I think the cast members are all pretty spot on how I picture them from the novel except fo Cao Yanhua. It's funny, the actor for Cao Yanhua seemed completely wrong but after watching him I'm now 100% convinced! (in the novel, here is how he is described: 'a man in his thirties, with a fat face and large ears, his fleshy cheeks squeezing his eyes into two lines. He wasn’t tall, even shorter than Mu Dai.')

I'm pretty sure The Double and now this are the only shows I have seen her in. I'm amazed how different a character this is too. I will be looking for more from her!
