Episode 36. Wait, what? they killed the bad dude, the killing flood was released and...the old poet wrote a new sonnet and they are all standing around commenting on it. WTF? Did they skip an episode or some scenes? How did we get from the entire world at war and a deadly flood imminent to standing around reading poetry? π€
Also, I really hate when they don't kill off female villains they just make them go crazy like the noseless bitch. 'oh no they saw my face I must kill them all. no one loves me. poor me,, sob sob' ππ€¬
The ML with the crying baby! π₯° The of them together! And what did they do to that baby to make her cry! π I wish would could have seen more of the happy family! I would have loved to have seen a scene were the ML came home to meeting his daughter for the first time!
If they wouldn't have killed off our favorite Wei Liang they could have used all that time devoted to his killing/telling everyone about his killing/retrieving his body/grave scene for more lovely moments between the ML and the FL (and kid). And also had a marriage and lovely moments with Wei Liang and Xiaotao too! ππ
That eo ending and beginning of 35 killed my soul later also when Q go to pick his body. It was even more sadder…

Trying to watch this again after a break for a while. This is a series with an excellent actress, Qin Lan, who plays a gorgeous, elegant, intelligent FL. Xia Zhi Guang (not the ML) plays a rather idiot savant expert in pretty much everything. I adore his character and I think he looks better than in anything else. π¨Warning - Ranting below The rest of the 3 cast members are all disgusting (the characters, not the actors themselves). They slag off on everyone who isn't themselves, lie, cheat, steal, are lazy, blame everyone but themselves for their own mistakes and are basically all around terrible people. The guy who I guess is supposed to be the ML is the worst of the bunch. Not only is he a lazy lying scum of a guy he is also fine with the rest of the staff behaving the same way. As a matter of fact he encourages it! They work at a dating agency that has been bought out by another company and the FL has been brought in to fix the company. The problem is the staff refuses to work, basically sleep all day when they bother coming into the office. The staff are all angry at the FL and working against her to make her job difficult. They fucked up so badly within the first couple of days that a client they were working with got scammed out of money from a guy they set her up with. And they just really didn't cared or really try to fix it. I managed to stomach this for 2 episodes. These people are so disgusting I see no reason to stick around. And it's a shame because Xia Zhi Guang and Qin Lan are gorgeous and I would lobe to see more of them. With a different cast. Dropping.

I wonder what the hold up is? π€ It's an original story so not sure if there is anything considered 'controversial' in it but it seems like a fairly light fluffy fun drama. I wish they would get off their butts and pass the review and give a distribution license, like now! π€£
