The pure hypocrisy of Chen Xiu slapping her maid for ruining the fireworks, saying she despises underhanded tricks. 🙄Umm, hello, you are the queen of underhanded tricks? Telling on the FL for opening her courtyard up to all the other girls. Telling the first lady (or madam or whatever) that the FL didn't kneel all night long....I see, it's only ok if you do it. 🎆🦹
I absolutely loved the flaming sword dance! But it was too short. I want more! 😂 Every single person at that banquet just fell in love with the FL a bit. 🥰

Maybe we will all be pleasantly surprised? I have watched a bunch last year and so far this year that were supposed to have happy endings (according to their novels) but ended up with sad endings instead. 🥺Maybe since we're all convinced it will be sad they will reward us with a good ending? 🤞Hey, I can dream can't I?

Maybe wait until the show finishes airing to check on the ending before watching anymore? If we find out it's a happy ending (that would be a nice surprise!) finish watching it. If it's the ending we all seem to be expecting, pass until you feel like it's the right time. Sometimes I just need a good cry....😭

I agree. Though I love this show the constant betrayals and twists and the FL losing so badly (or not?) is getting a bit much! We need to have a resolution of at least one plot point before we move on. Can we get rid of one villain at least? The buggy eyed dude would be a good start. Brand him with his flower and feed him to the dogs?
