ooh, lovely song! Do you have the sheet music for it or did you play it by ear? I'm quite jealous! I'm afraid my piano skills are rudimentary at best. Not well enough to play a song that complex. I've almost talked myself into complete watching Who Rules the World this weekend. I hear that if you stop after episode 38 it's a happy ending? I may try that.

I mostly agree with you, except this saying keeps circling around my brain: 'it is better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all'
I personally think that with the FL's character she probably would have rather died with the ML than survive him.
Of course, this is a fictional story about fictional characters so take it for what it's worth! 😉
Personally I like the novel's ending for Who Rules the World:
"Hence, he utilizes all her energy by practising an old martial arts skill where it can revive anyone at death door to save her. She is saved but he has aged 30 years and is on the brink of death, with his skin all wrinkled and his hair turning white overnight. Fortunately, this is reversible and he recovers his good health and look. They decide to give up everything and roam the martial arts world, living a peaceful and carefree life. Ultimately he chooses his beauty, FXY over the ‘world’."

I'm glad I was not the only one fooled!
I was writing scathing commentary of them killing off the brother, being tricked by the traitorous mole, and the ML signing away everything and letting himself get slapped and kneeling down in front of the villain, and then....I'm so glad I was wrong!

But then we wouldn't have that wonderful visual of the FL and little sister riding away on the back horse!😂🐎

I confidently watched the final episode of Kill Me Love Me cause I read the novel and knew it had a wonderful happy ending. And then was crushed! WTAF? Who would do that? Why would they do that? Sadistic! I would have stopped too if I had known...😭
I stopped watching Who Rules the World cause I read about the ending. It is still in my watch list but I haven't been able to bring myself to finish it. It's like, yeah, it's sort of happy, you don't die right away, you'll live for now but die in a couple of years and you know about it and there's nothing you can do so, bye!🥹
I really wish they had a tag here on MDL that gives you a Happy/Sad/Bad/Open ending heads up! It could be a hidden field like they do for Discussions?

Does that means she becomes a courtesan and opens a brothel? Cause I don't think 'Flower Goddess' and a 'floral workshop' means what I originally thought.🤔

Why is it when they say the FL is poor and destitute and talk about pawning her wedding dress she is dripping in jewels with really nice clothes on? Wouldn't it make more sense to have no jewels or hair thingies and really plain clothes on? 🤔
And wait, they just said they were so poor they didn't even have spare clothes and yet they are all wearing different outfits with matching accessories.🤨
And the next day they all have new outfits on with their (completely different from yesterday's) matching hair thingies and jewelry dripping off them again! We wont even talk about the perfect hair and makeup lol! 😑
Woah, FL is a bit of a not nice person kicking the ML off the boat! Dang, these 2 together are going to be pure chaos!🫠
And their 3rd day since escaping they all have another change of clothes with perfectly coordinating expensive accessories! Good lord not to mention that pearl encrusting veiled hat! 💰
