I really like what they're doing with the colors and all the different things that go on in the alternate universe. I'm not sold on JimmySea's chemistry yet. It's awkward but hopefully they'll set into it. I hope we move past the portkey business in the next ep and into some more plot because finding out who's your portkey isn't super interesting to me.
I feel like you have to either watch the movie or the show but not both. I watched the movie first (which I loved) and honestly I was a little bored with this because I feel like I 'd already seen it. There's some extra scenes and moments in the show but nothing that I felt added to what I'd already seen. There were no new pivotal moments or revelations. All the major plots points are exactly the same as in the movie. I'd recommend watching the show since there's a longer runtime, but if you don't have time the movie will do too.
I tried this out because I'm a fan of a messy plot, but I'm dropping after 1.5 eps because it's ridiculously boring. I don't know how what sounds like a mess of a show could be so uninteresting.
I just finished binging this and I loved everything about it! Definitely my favorite BL so far this year. I'm going to start paying attention to Japan because I they're really stepping up the game this year.
The first ep wasn't the best but I think the show got more interesting from the second ep onwards. As someone who's seen the original I think this was a decent watch, though I think it lacked an oomph I think I would have felt had I not seen the original (a lot of things were just too similar). I think people who have seen the original might like this less but people who havent seen it might like it a lot more. Overall I liked it enough to watch the second part. I really hope they start to deviate a little more from the original to make it more interesting.
I feel like this show is trying to do too much in a short span of time. We've got the stalker plot, Hye Won chasing after her teacher, Roa's roommate seems interested in him, and Ji Woo is only interested in Yu Na right now. I don't see how that leaves room for Ji Woo to believably fall for Roa without it seeming rushed. I wish the show was simpler and was just about Ji Woo and Roa taking the love class together and developing a relationship as they learn about dating, love, and relationships. Hopefully we'll see more of the class in future eps.
I don't know why I thought it was safe to come here and see what people thought about the ending and not get spoiled…
Given your perspective of the show I think there's a chance you'll still enjoy the ending. Everything you've written are the exact thoughts I had while watching and I was satisfied.
Let Tofu go then, that ending was just unnecessary cruel toward a main character that developed enough as a person…
I think they could have let him die since it seems to be unnecessarily cruel, but I also think it's fine that he didn't because I believe that Tofu's happy.
I personally liked the ending. It was bittersweet but not unexpected. I figured in the early eps that there was a high possibility that Tofu would turn back into a teddy bear and Nut would get back with Tarn so when it actually happened I wasn't ridiculously sad about it. At a point,Tofu literally says his sole purpose is to support Nut (or something like that) and at the end of the day, he did. He helped him heal and move past his trauma and when that was done he went back to being a teddy bear, which is what he originally wanted when he first turned into a human.
I do think the ending could have been written a little differently because it looks like Tofu's expected to be happy watching the person he loves love someone else and most people wouldn't be happy about that. But then again, Tofu's a teddy bear, not a human so it's not crazy to think he would be satisfied with just seeing Nut happy. I can understand how it feels like Tofu got the short end of the stick but I understand it and I think the ending was fitting.

Counterfeit guy: Most likely not since he's been revealed so early
Fish boy: They're trying to make him suspicious, but it's looking more like a Samantha from Mad for Each Other situation
Yul's dad: The most suspicious to me, but probably still a red herring
