So many good scenes in ep 3! Teh's sniffing scenes full of yearning, the hammock scene where everything is honestly laid out on the table, the beach scene filled with tension, the singing/translation, and the last scene especially. There's so much sexual tension between these two I feel like the air crackles when they touch. I don't think I've ever seen a series scene, but then directly after Teh gets scared and runs. The pain on Aew's face was heartbreaking. This shows is honestly amazing.
This show was so messy from start to finish, but despite all the things that could use improvement, it still managed to reel me in. The pacing and the script are glaring flaws, but the chemistry is great, there's fun and heartwarming moments, and I thought the last ep was probably one of the best eps of the show. Anyone attempting to watch this show shouldn't watch it expecting the best, but if you want a campy, over the top, sometimes nonsensical, disney-esque, rom com this might be right up your alley.
Ep 6 is written in a way where its unclear if Ken is dead, Shake is dead, or they're both dead. It's kind of clever, but I have to admit I that I don't care for it. I liked this show at first but I'm not a fan of the ghost stuff and the potential killing of the characters or that the moms and Sandee's behavior seems like it was swept under the rug.
This show is perfect! From the script, to the acting, all the way down to the OST, everything comes together so well. I love so many lines in the dialogue and there's so many symbolic things and references to queer media. I can't even write proper comment about how good this show is. I'm so curious to see where we're going from here after the perfection that was ep 6.
This show is so over the top and ridiculously done sometimes and the acting really doesn't make it any better. Yet for some reason it's just cringey and campy enough for me to love.
this has such a high rating... anyone else find this show srsly boring??to me theres no chemistry between the…
I tried but I couldn't past the second episode I've never been more bored. The positive comments and the high rating make me want to pick it back up though because maybe I missed something?
I love this! I'm glad I gave up on the BLs that weren't doing anything for me and picked this one up. I like the chemistry, the acting, the dialogue and the OST is great too and thats saying a lot because I never notice the music in BL. This show is sho well done on multiple levels. Can't wait to watch the rest.
I get why Judah's so upset. He's been hurt a lot and now here's Rocky who wanted him one minute, didn't want him the next, and now wants him again (and Judah assumes because someone else wants him). Judah doesn't want to be hurt again and he feels like he can't really trust Rocky because Rocky doesn't even know what he wants.
And then there's Rocky who obviously wants Judah. At this point I think Rocky knows he's gay or bi or whatever but is just too scared to admit it. Given that text with his mom earlier, I feel like he's buried himself deep in the closet out of fear of disappointment or something. All of the pressure from Judah for commitment probably isn't helping.
This is all so new for the both of them, they really need to sit and have an open and honest conversation. Everything needs to be laid on the table. I'm wondering if there's really just one more episode of this because I don't know how they're going to tie it all up.
It seems promising so far. It seemed well put together and the acting is decent. The first episode was mostly set up, but I think it'll be really interesting in the next episodes.
I still wish they had taken more time to develop the relationship between sky and ace. One day they hated each other and the next day it seemed they liked each other just because the writer wanted them to.
Clearly the show has its flaws but I really like it even though I don't know why. Ep 8 was really good. The first 3 parts of ep 8 were fun and enjoyable. Then I saw part 4 was rated R and I thought for sure we were just going to get a cringey kiss, but not only did we get a good kiss but a really well done love scene. It was completely unexpected. Really hoping the quality stays up for the last few eps.
My biggest problem with this is that I feel like the show is trying to be really angsty and dramatic but the acting and writing aren't good enough to make it believable if that makes any sense. But on the plus side after literally sleeping through episode 4, I was actually interested in what was happening in ep 5 so maybe the show is starting to settle and might improve from here.
This is my favourite Pinoy BL because it has a lot of the Thai BL tropes.
I think my biggest problem is the fact that all the femme guys are regulated to background characters that don't add a whole lot and Jelai harassing Jam. Though thankfully they've toned that down. And I especially don't like the evil ex girlfriend thing. The rest of the tropes I don't really have a problem with.
I like a lot of things I find hugely flawed. I clearly stated I liked it despite those things. There's no sarcasm in my post because I didn't write it to be sarcastic. If I clearly wasn't trying to be funny how could I not take your comment as rude and laughing at my opinion when you chose not to elaborate beyond a simple lol. Forgive me for interpreting your comment incorrectly. Intentions aren't easily read through words.
