Yh same here, I’m just too impatient. I usually wait until like the first 10-12 eps aired as at that point the leads have formed some type of relationship but with that it means I binge watch 10 eps in one go. I do think watching when it’s airing is better for me cuz the comments can help you understand some passages you might’ve missed.

I think it’s to do with the fact that some actors voice might not portray the character they’re playing. Other reason might be to do with accents- might not have the appropriate accent for the character they playing. And another reason imo is to create more job roles, as china’s population is quite massive, it’s a great way to create more job roles.

someone said like in a comment below that something bad happened in the past (not past life) and he’s probs referring to that. I think he probs referring to when he was a kid seeing a lot of ppl being slaughtered but don’t take my words for it. I, too have the same question.

I absolutely loved fireworks of my heart, it had both. The tension between the leads were sizzling until they got together. another one, though it’s not firefighter related but police one is You are my Hero which is such an amazing drama between a doctor and police.

In my opinion yes, it’s one of those higher end mini drama. The plot and the leads are interesting so I say have a go and see if you like it.

yes and I think next two eps, fl will find out about his stuff and either understand him or fully break up with him and probably accept to get married with the scumbag, and he probably gonna try to object at the wedding or she’ll be in great danger with the scumbag becoming a majority owner and he’ll try to save her and get her the whole shares to make amends with her. This is just my theory cuz of how other cdramas used to play out.

I was thinking why he was talking about himself in third person then I realised maybe he is indeed not XM, maybe he might have a twin brother or might have a doppelgänger. He probably pursued fl for ulterior motives like getting shares but kinda fell in love with her while at it.

I mean you got to remember it has Yan Zi (FL) starring in it who also brings a lot of traffic. I think it’s easier to break records if there are popular actors/personalities involved as their core fanbase will watch them regardless of what they are in. But that’s not to say that other dramas cannot gain the same success. There were low budget dramas this year that did really well compared to some high budget ones.

It’s confirmed by Tencent that it’s next year. But we don’t know whether it’s next summer or start of the year (jan/feb). So I’m praying it’s jan/feb but don’t have my hopes up.

Idk if its similar but in my opinion it’s similar, it’s called mysterious love and love of replica. The main cast are the same in both and the ML is kinda similar in vibes and behaviour. Have a go, it might be your cup of tea.

Yh the actors during the table read was something else. I think there was a video of it and some actors couldn’t fathom the script.😭😭

GoT wanted to make me do things I wouldn’t do. I was not in a good state with the nonsense of an ending. Still grinds my gears to this day. I’m not fussy about a BE but the way everything unfolded made me stop watching western shows altogether. They be doing too much.

There’s too many to count tbh. The whole show is one big torture for the characters and the audience altogether. So prepare a tissue box when you watching it.

Oh yh I watched love and redemption too but forgot that that was the abbreviation for it 😂. I’ve watched it and it was just rollercoaster of emotions. Lord have mercy how I got through the whole series. It along with AOL, gave me a satisfying ending. I go back and rewatch it again and again. Also I really loved WRTW (who rules the world) and ALP (ancient love poetry), I really wished both had a better ending even though I’m grateful it wasn’t an OE or BE.

I feel you. When I first started watching ongoing dramas it was daunting cuz your spending so much time devoting to a drama and you don’t know how it’s gonna end. But you kind of get used to endings that are not necessarily good after watching couple of ongoing dramas.

Back here again after rewatching ashes of love. Why does LYX play sad characters? anyways going to rewatch Love is Sweet to heal the empty void in me. Also really close to 100k comments. (Currently 99908th comment).
