ALP is one of my favourites, if not the favourite. It genuinely has a soft spot, from the OST to the character build up, it’s great. The chemistry between leads are also on point, so highly recommend.

I have been patiently waiting for her downfall and want to ensure it is satisfying. I am not going to miss a second of the torture she will go through. Let’s be honest, there aren’t enough episodes to cover her punishment. I want to see her waterboarded or drowning but unable to die for eternity. Maybe I’m just too psychotic.

The way she's begging for a party that no one asked for is amusing. I do love her confidence, but it's second-hand embarrassment. Moreover, she doesn't realize that she can never be on the same level as FY in any universe. I mean, FY is a magnificent phoenix, while she's just a pretty bird - and looks can fade. I'm eager to see the confrontation when she realizes the Water Beast she tortured was, in fact, the current Phoenix Queen, and also the moment she understands that she will never be a heavenly empress. This is the downfall I have been waiting for.

HS is like those extra buttons that come in a small zip bags on a t-shirt - you know they're there, but when do you ever use them? Right into the trash they go, much like my patience with HS. She's hovering in my 'Top 10 Annoying Characters Hall of Fame', just a few spots below the hag from AOL. Both of them are like uninvited guests at a hero-saving party, taking all the credit. It’s like, hello, did anyone ask you? At least in IS, the FL's sister had the decency to sacrifice herself for Yandan (the least she could do). But our friend HS? She's doubling down on the annoyance factor. I’m just sitting here, popcorn in hand, waiting for the day she gets served a big, steaming slice of humble pie. Bon appétit, HS!

I might be reading into it but the position of the heartbreak emoji is on top of 22, not in the middle of 22-23 which gives me the hope that they have 2 eps to pattern up the heartbreak (if that is even the case- it could be just a small misunderstanding where they don’t talk for a day or two).

PYA is too selfish. The guy has been given a chance to break up, so he should really take the opportunity since he’s into that dark haired woman. Also his dad don’t even like his current gf and his business partner’s dad wants him as son in law, tf is he doing trying to still be in that relationship? Like bro, give up! You don’t wanna be in that relationship so why you still so persistent? The only reason he would still want to be in this relationship is cuz she’s pretty and him probs suspecting that something going on between ML and FL and he don’t want to lose (as he sees this as a game).

Yh which is y I feel for her but at the same time, she just needs to accept the reality. The more she waits for him and stays in this unhappy relationship, the more time she’s wasting. She has already lost a lot of her valuable years, she cannot afford to lose more. She also knows her relationship is a sinking ship so she just needs the courage to let it go.

I watched the first 6 eps raw but is the FL’s bf cheating on her with that woman? it’s kinda hinting at it. Also, I guess ik why fl would not want to break up with ml (social status etc.) but seems to me she’s not the type to care so why doesn’t she just break it off. It’s clear to her that she can’t stand him but still stays with him, I would be more understanding if she was just conciously unaware. A simple break up between them will literally solve 90% of their problems but I guess we won’t have a plot if they did it this early.

well, if they following the kdrama one spring night, it’s gonna be something like a minor misunderstanding. And get back together, idk if they’ll get married…really do want that though.

could be that they break up at 22 but can get back together at 24. I have seen dramas where they break up on the penultimate ep but get back together.

Watched the first episode with subs on YT, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I watched it without skipping, maybe cuz it’s such a morally grey type drama by the looks of it. Although I was struggling to not see the ML as CX from LYF and thinking throughout the ep he’s gonna have his psychotic moment 😂, I still enjoyed it. I can already sense the tension between the leads. Hope the story is executed well and get a HE, otherwise it’s gonna be a sad day for me.

if you talking about Houchi (a part of Shangu) and Qing Mu (a part of Bai Jue), yeah they dead but you would still consider Bai Jue and Shangue his parents. Nevertheless whether shangue conceived him or houchi dod, they the same person, just like Bai Jue and QM.
